How to Wear/Style a Leopard Print Gilet?

Hello fashionistas!

I've been very productive today, I worked early this morning, then went to do a weekly grocery shopping...it is a rainy & kind of a chilly day, but that didn't stop me to go for a walk around the local open market (where I live, it happens twice a week: on Tuesdays and Saturdays...given the fact that I always work on Saturdays, I really wanted to go today & check out for the good deals & bargains!)
I also wanted to buy a material & beads for my jewellery, but unfortunately, due to the rain, the guys that usually sell beads & stuff didn't show up! :(
However, I'm still glad I went to the market because I did get a black skull scarf for only 3€, the famous Kelly...inspired... dark red bag for 29€ and the most adorable black & grey wool cape for only 5€!!!
I haven't taken the pics, but I'll show these items to you in one of my incoming haul videos, or featuring them in my OOTD videos :)

Talking about the OOTD videos, here is another one that is new on my MissFashionKitty channel:

I filmed this video a while ago and I had it in the files of my computer, so I edited it & re-uploaded...as I believe it is still very authentic!
Leopard print gilet is an item that is great for Fall/Winter season & you can style it in so many different ways...and wear it for.... from casual to special occasions...any occasion basically! ♪♪

You can also check out the video that I have on my eipysgudps channel where I'm giving you more ideas for the complete stylings around the leopard print gilet:

& here are some pics of the looks:

Break the everyday "all black" with a leopard print gilet & add
some fun to your styling!

A styling for "going out at night": black mini dress with shiny leggings, a black turtleneck & a
vintage belt.

"Rocker/chic girl" with leather look leggings & black high heeled booties!

Office- work style.
Military green & grey are always trendy colours for the Fall season.
Add a bit of colour: I'm wearing my bright coloured silk scarf with adorable cats print!

Casual look with boyfriend fit (skinny leg) jeans & a big, brown vintage bag.

Youthful/ trendy look: Cute print T-shirt, lots of layered chunky bracelets,
boyfriend fit, skinny leg jeans & another vintage bag!
I hope you liked the looks!
Which one is your favourite and why?
Hopefully this blog post & my videos give you some ideas on what to wear in this rainy Fall season, to make your Fall less dull & gloomy! ;)

Organic Skincare: Dr. Hauschka Review (Rose Day Cream & Lip Balm)

Hello girls!

How was your weekend?
My Sunday was lovely, and I'm not going to tell you anything else on the subject now, because I'm preparing a vlog & a blog post about it! ;)
...
Hopefully I'll manage to edit everything by tomorrow evening...tomorrow morning I have to wake up sooo early, I'm scared to even think about it!
I'll be working from 5:45 a.m. till 9.00 a.m. UGHHHH
I don't even have the right words to express my feelings about it!
I'll have to wake up at 5.00 a.m. - at this early hour, even the roosters are still sleeping!!!
Fortunately, this horrific work schedule happens only once a year, so I'll just have to bear with it- it'll pass too- like everything else does!
At least today I'm free, and then again, after tomorrow, I'll be free until Thursday...here are some comforting thoughts...

Anyways, let's get back ON TOPIC!
Today I have a review of dr. Hauschka Organic Skincare line.
I've done a video where talking about my experience with this brand...I have tried quite a few products from dr. Hauschka, but in this review, I'm more concentrated on reviewing the famous dr.Hauschka "Rose Day Cream" and a Lip Balm (in a jar), the two products that I'm currently using from the brand.

You can watch my review video here:

More about dr.Hauschka philosphy:

Inspired by a holistic approach to skin care , the complete line of dr. Hauschka Skin Care preparations is designed to bring harmony, balance and rhytm to the skin. Rather than masking or covering up skin conditions, dr. Hauschka products work with the skin, treating it as an integral part of the human being.
These holistic preparations meet all skin needs, addressing specific conditions rather than skin types because skin has the ability to change- to become balanced and harmonious.

Since 1967, WALA Heilmittel, the manufacturer of dr. Hauschka Skin Care, has produced pure, therapeutic and luxurious skin care. Carefully selected ingredients, found in nature, encourage and support the health of the skin. Their unique, environmentally sound processing strengthens and preserves the living essence of the plant ingredients.
Biodynamically grown plants carry more vitality than plants grown by other methods. The gardens at WALA Heilmittel have been biodynamic for more than 40 years.

Dr. Hauschka claims to have higher standards.
WALLA Heilmittel ensures that their growing, harvesting and processing is friendly to the environment.
They have never tested on animals and are opposed to this form of testing.
Furthermore, no aspect of nature is damaged in any process, including animals and people.

The two products I'm currently loving from dr.Hauschka:

Rose Day Cream & Lip Balm

I like & recommend the Lip Balm!
It is very moisturizing & nourishing on my lips.
The little jar  contains 4.2 g/0.14 Oz of the product and my only complaint is that I usually finish this product in a two weeks' time!
It is a bit too expensive for such a small amount of the product :(
The ingredients:
Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Beeswax (Cera Alba), Arachis Hypogaea (Peanut) Oil, Daucus Carota Sativa (Carrot) Root Extract, Anthyllis Vulneraria Extract, Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot) Kernel Oil, Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Hypericum Perforatum Flower/Leaf/Stem Extract, Silk (Serica) Powder, Triticum Vulgare (Wheat) Germ Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Triticum Vulgare (Wheat) Bran Extract, Lecithin, Fragrance (Parfum), Citronellol*, Geraniol*, Linalool*, Farnesol*, Benzyl Benzoate*, Citral*, Eugenol*, Benzyl Alcohol*, Benzyl Salicylate* *Component of natural essential oils
Suitable for all skin conditions

Intensive soothing care for dry, chapped lips, this rich balm promotes skin renewal as it moisturizes and softens. Lip Balm provides a translucent shine and helps visibly reduce fine lines around the mouth.

  • Calendula and St. John'swort extracts encourage renewal
  • Silk and anthyllis strengthen delicate lip tissue
  • Jojoba and wheat germ oils moisturize and protect
  • Natural botanical ingredients do not encourage dependency
It retails at $ 16.95
I usually buy it at my local pharmacy, or a herbalist store.
You can also purchase it here!

My lips get very dry, especially in winter time, so this lip balm is definitely my life, actually, lip saver!

dr. Hauschka Rose Day Cream
Rose oil and wild Rose hip extract envelop the skin with a protective nurturing film. This rich, beautifully scented cream, with the extract of over 1,075 organic Rose petals in each tube, strengthens the skin and soothes redness and couperose conditions. The skin is encouraged to repair and restore itself as well as being calmed and smoothed.

  • This is a Dr.Hauschka 2011 Hero product. Hero products are all highly-revered, award-winning products that produce brilliant, beautiful skin.
  • Regenerates the epidermis (the top layer of the skin).
  • Helps the skin to maintain its moisture level.
I was really excited to try out this cream by dr. Hauschka, but I should have gone for the "light" version of it! My skin is oily/combination and this particular cream is meant for a very dry/sensitive/mature skin. It is a bit too oily for my skin type. I find that I can't use this product in summer, but just in a very cold winter days, or if I'm on a vacations in the mountains.
I can use it during the day only if I'm applying my Bare Minerals foundation on top- in this case it is a perfect base. Otherwise, if I'm applying just a regular foundation or a tinted moisturizer, it'll make my skin appear extremely shiny- ughhh!!!!
I also like to use it at night- even though from dr.Hauschka laboratories they advise not using the night cream, as our skin has the best ability to renew itself at night without the "help" of night creams!
(...at night, skin should be cleansed, then conditioned or toned. Night creams are not recommended and may actually be counterproductive in that they do not allow the skin to "breathe" and perform its natural metabolic functions during the night...)
Learn more about how to use this cream here!
30 ml of the product retails at £ 23.95

If you have a very dry & sensitive skin, this is going to be the perfect product for you, especially in the incoming cold winter weather!

The next time, I'm definitely getting the "light" version!

I hope this review helped you in some way, if you were interested in learning more about dr.Hauschka organic skincare philosophy.

Have a lovely evening!

"Outfits of the Week" Video on MissFashionKitty Channel

Hello girls!

I'm about to go to sleep as tomorrow I have a busy day at work ahead of me, but before I hug my pillow, here is a quick outfit post for you :)

Actually, more than a post, it's a video...
Just an older video that I had in my files, so I've decided to edit it & re-upload it.
The outfits that I'm showing you in this video may serve you as a styling inspiration for this Fall weather, when one day it is warm and sunny and then the next day it is raining and quite chilly!

Hit the play button bellow to watch my video:

& don't forget to let me know which one was your favourite outfit, out of all these outfits that I featured here!
I'd love to know your opinion! :)

Besides that, how was your week so far?
To me, the days flew by much too quickly! I haven't done half of the things I had in mind!
But I did manage to hang out with my friends :)
This Tuesday I went at the italian open market & as usual, found some amazing things, plus I also got some beads & other material for my jewellery, which is very exciting!
I'll share with you more about the new pieces that I made in one of my upcoming videos, or on my
That same day, in the afternoon hours, I went thrifting with my friends Liley &
Arianna from Shiny Fairies blog, needless to say, we went a bit crazy & returned home with a whole bunch of stuff, perfect for the fall and winter weather! hihi ;)

& today, even though it was rainy & gloomy day, after I finished running errands for my hubby at the post office, I went with my friend Chiara to the mall.
The reason wasn't shopping, but giving out Chiara's cv, as she's searching for a job.
We had a nice chat, grabbed some frozen yoghurts ...
I returned home with only one thing: A perfume from Zara, "Black Peony".
I was sooo surprised at how good the Zara's perfumes are!
...and very, very affordable!
I paid the "Black Peony" (30ml) only 9.95€.
I'm sorry you guys that I haven't taken any pics, but as I've said, it was a busy week & I really had a very little time to dedicate to my blog!
I'll make it up to you the next week, as I have two big reviews coming, on dr.Hauschka and Avon Anew Rejuvenate line.
I already have these reviews on my eipysgudps youtube channel, if you wish you can check them out:
but as I've said, there will be detailed reviews on these products soon on my blog :)

Good night to you all!
 ♥ Sweet dreams ♥
Sonja
