Cozy & cute sweaters for the coldest time of the year!

Hello dolls!

Today in Italy it was quite cold! I think the weather in December is going to get even colder, and for the holiday season I'll have to be ready to use my warmest sweaters.
I do love cozy and warm knitwear and I have some really cute models that I like to wrap myself in, whenever outside temperatures get really low! I don't want to risk catching a cold!

Recently I got in touch with Ninacloak web store that sells really cute clothing so I wanted to share with you a few of my favourite pieces from their offer, for this winter season.
It might serve you as a bit of an inspo when it comes to renewing your winter wardrobe.

When outside is cold, I like to wear pants or jeans, and styling sweaters with them is easy.
When purchasing a new sweater I always look that it has at least a bit of wool, to keep me warm, and of course, I like nice prints and designs.

My first pick is this lovely beige sweater. It's truly a timeless piece and a staple in my wardrobe. A piece like this will never go out of style.

I also wanted to show you this grey sweater with pearls, because I have a very similar one and I love it! This sweater is very cute even for special occasions or dinners out in a restaurant.

Patchwork sweaters are very popular this season, and also a very nice way to make your outfit a bit more fun and interesting!

Here's another must have for this season: Christmas sweater! I think everyone should own one, and wear it all through December :-)

This season's popular color is certainly green! A bit unexpected for winter months, but yet this is how it is! My favourite color has always been green, ever since I was a kid, because it's a color of the nature, but I don't actually have a lot of green clothing items in my wardrobe.
This here is a very cute sweater with side buttons as decorations. I think it would look great with high waisted mom jeans or similar!

Must Have Outerwear For The Fall Season - My Top 5 Pieces!

Hello lovelies!

In this post I'd like to share with you my top five favorite outerwear pieces for the fall season. I tried to cover every weather condition from the warm and sunny early fall, to chilly and rainy to late cold fall season and and right before wintertime. I hope you'll like my suggestions!

For early fall, I definitely recommend a simple, black leather jacket. You can wear it with everything and it's ideal with summer dresses too, when you want to transition them in your fall outfits.

Next on my list is a bomber jacket. These days, you can find really cute ones and it's even better if they're reversible so that way you have two jackets in one! This one is reversible and has a pretty pink color on the inside. A bomber jacket adds a sporty chic vibe to your look.

When days get a bit colder, it's good to have a fashionable cape that you can wear over your chunky knit cardigan, or on top of a leather jacket.

When it's gloomy outside, I like to wear colorful pieces in my wardrobe. This jacket is cashmere so it's very warm and I usually wear it on top of my leather jacket (which only goes to show how a black leather jacket truly is a must have!).

My tip is to buy your wool jackets a bit larger in size, that way you can layer them over your leather or jean jackets on the days when it's very cold outside.

A warm aviator jacket is my must have in late fall, when it gets chillier outside and you just want to wrap yourself in something fuzzy, soft and warm!

I have two aviator jackets, a blue one with some kind of crazy print by Replay and this one that you can see in the photo above is from H&M. If you need to opt for one, I recommend either neutral beige or black, as you'll wear them the most.

H&M and Zara have these in stock basically every fall season and you can also find them online at affordable prices.

Fall & Winter footwear & other wardrobe updates :-)

Hello lovelies!

In my today's post I'd like to talk about fashion and some latest trends that I've been loving!
Winter is on its way and these days in Italy it's actually very cold. I'm in need of my winter clothes, cozy and warm wool sweaters and equally warm footwear.

I did a little "wardrobe inventory" and put on my list, some bits that I'd like to add to it for the coldest season of the year and for the upcoming holidays.
As a matter of fact, I decided to do a little update in my footwear collection, to get rid of everything that I don't wear anymore, or doesn't fit me properly, and so to purchase a few quality pieces that I'll be able to wear a lot this season.

For this reason, I went to Chicgostyle, and spotted some really cool models that I instantly put on my wish list. As the festive season is coming along, I might just treat myself with a little present...
I thought I'd share a few of my favourites...

I like browsing through this on-line store because they have cheap womens boots online and they appear to be nice quality.

Quality these days is my main priority! I want to have a few good pieces, that will last me for many seasons. So I decided to take a chance with these and put them to a trial!

Let's see if they'll live up to my expectations!

They have very trendy and up to date models available, but I was going for something more classic that won't go out of style so quickly...
These grey ankle high, suede booties are just what I was looking for! Very stylish and great with many different looks, especially with jeans (and I do tend to wear jeans a lot!).

Also, a pair of calf high boots! I'm still deciding which colour to go for (my thoughts are, either black, or cognac colour!). Which ones do you like best?
I do love the leopard print ones, but I already have a very similar boots, so I surely don't need another pair!

I think with those two pairs of booties I'm all set for this season! One has a bit higher heel so I can wear it out even for a date night or something similar, yet the other pair is perfect even for long days at work!

And what about warm women sweaters? Here are some cheap tops that I was able to find, at such good price that I wanted to recommend a few of my faves to you:

Such a cozy knit, I'm loving it! And this is definitely the colour that I like to wear :-)

Another one that I absolutely need in my wardrobe this season is this gorgeous long cardigan! It's ideal for layering, and it looks soft and warm!

Happy New Year! I hope you all had an amazing holiday season with your family and loved ones!

It's the time for new beginnings and we have a chance to stick to all those resolutions we made for the year that's ahead of us!
My resolution is to be smart when it comes to shopping and buy only things I really love!

White winter knitted sweater dress OOTD

I rediscovered this white knitted sweater dress, from a couple of seasons ago, in my closet, and I thought it's the perfect item to wear now during my pregnancy, as it's so comfy, yet warm!
When the real cold winter weather arrives, it's going to be super challenging dressing my baby bump! I wish I was in my third trimester in summer time! I hate having to put all these layers of clothes on my belly, I feel it's growing and stretching out every day, and I'd love to wear just flowy, light weight summer dresses! I also hate having to wake up early in the mornings when outside is still dark and icy cold, to go and have doctor's visits and exams! That's super stressful! I'd 1000% prefer to go through all these and deliver my baby in the summer's heat! That's just me! But, hey, we have to embrace what we're given, so icy cold weather it is!

Ovu bijelu pletenu haljinicu pronasla sam nedavno u svom ormaru, a znam da sam ju kupila prije par godina u H&M-u. Pokazala se idealnim odjevnim predmetom bas sada, kada sam u trecem tromjesecju i kada moj trbuscic raste i rasteze se svakim danom sve vise, pa mi je neophodna udobna odjeca. Buduci da nam stize i zimsko vrijeme, bitno mi je i moci se utopliti, a to nije lako, jer jedino sto bih voljela nositi jesu lagane i prozracne ljetne haljine koje daju "slobodu" mom trudnickom trbuhu! Svi ovi slojevi odjece ponekad me uzasno iritiraju i voljela bih da sam u trecem tromjesecju u ljetnim mjesecima! Takva sam vam ja, radije bih radjala po pasjim vrucinama, nego usred velike zime! Samo ustajanje rano ujutro, dok je vani jos mracno i ledeno, kako bih napravila neki pregled, cini mi stres, dok mi se ljeti sve, bas sve cini lakse! No, sto je tu je! Moramo iskoristiti na najbolji moguci nacin ono sto nam je dano, tako da prihvacam izazov i smisljam tople trudnicke outfite!

SWEATER WEATHER FASHION HAUL: H&M's WARM & COZY KNITWEAR!

Hey guys! In this post I'd like to share with you one of my recent fashion hauls from H&M :-) As winter is almost here, days are getting super cold, and I needed some warm & cozy winter sweaters to keep me warm! I went to H&M here locally, but also while I was in Croatia (I went to do a bit of shopping with my Mum!) and I got some great items for a very convenient price (most of these items were on a special offer because they were a part of the past year's collection).

I filmed a haul video where I'm showing you all these items, and also you'll see a "try on" clips. These are all non maternity sweaters, but still, I can wear them even in my pregnancy and they fit just perfectly!


Pozdrav ljudi! U danasnjem postu zeljela bih vam pokazati sto sam si nedavno kupila u H&M-u! Radi se o toplim i udobnim pletenim majicama, kojih zimi nikad dosta! Buduci da su nam dani sve hladniji, ove tople stvarcice bile su mi zaista potrebne!

I hope everything's fine! I've been a bit MIA because I had a lot of work to do for my youtube channels, I have lots of exciting collaborations coming up, so I'm really looking forward to that!
Also, this week I'm off work, so I have more time free to write my articles for Glam Express, and I'm also planning a little weekend getaway to the italian mountains!

This morning, I was browsing through some old videos on my youtube channel SoniaVerardo BeautyBlog and I came across this video that I found to be hillarious! My hubby and I both had a good laugh whilst watching it, and I noticed how many sincere comments I received back then! People were genuinely interested in my content on youtube, and were really engaged with my channel. Nowdays I feel it's all sub 4 sub, and loads of fake compliments from people who saw maybe 30 sec of my video (the time they took to actually write the comment), trying to draw attention to their own channels. I definitely dislike where this youtube game is heading, but I keep playing it, because I want to show that there are still people who genuinely enjoy creating content, and not all of us are money or fame drawn!
I'm talking about a video that I published in 2010., and it was sort of a Q&A type of video. I filmed it outdoors, in the italian hills, the scenery was beautiful. I was exactly one year and a half into creating youtube videos, and I wanted to give you guys a little insight into my life and help you to get to know me and my personality a bit better.

As this upcoming weekend I'm going to the mountains, I thought I'd do a little "response", or "update" video, to my video from 2010.!

Nadam se da ste svi super! Ja sam bila malo "odsutna" od bloga, jer sam vise vremena posvetila obvezama na youtube-u. Imam planirane neke zanimljive suradnje, tako da se bas veselim tome!
Ovaj tjedan sam na godisnjem, tako da imam vise vremena za pisanje clanaka za Glam Express, a ovaj vikend planiram i kratki put u talijanske planine!

Za doruckom sam prelistavala svoje stare videe na youtube kanalu SoniaVerardo BeautyBlog i naisla na ovaj video iz 2010. god. koji je mene i muzica nasmijao do suza!

Video mi je jednostavno presmjesan i smijem se sama sebi dok ga gledam, ali isto tako je iskren i spontan i zbog toga ga necu skinuti u pokusaju brendiranja svog kanala i izgradnje imagea...
Da, jer branding i image je sve o cemu se danas prica i o cemu blogeri/youtuberi razmisljaju, zar ne?
Iskreno me dotaklo do srca kada sam shvatila koliko sam iskrenih komentara tada dobila na taj video! Ljudi su zaista zeljeli podijeliti sa mnom svoje dojmove i reakcije na sam video. Danas, imam dojam, sve se vrti oko sub 4 sub, follow 4 follw. Ljudi ostavljaju puno laskavih komentara (iako su pogledali mozda samo 30 sek vaseg videa, bas onoliko koliko im je trebalo da napisu taj komentar), u pokusaju privlacenja paznje na svoj kanal. U ovoj youtube zajednici koja se u zadnje vrijeme vrti oko slave, novca, pohlepe i nezdrave konkurencije/ nadmetanja, meni osobno ponekad je tesko naci motivaciju.
I dalje sam ovdje jer zelim pokazati da nas jos ima: Iskrenih i jednostavnih, obicnih ljudi, kojima je ovo hobby i zabava i koji zaista zele komunicirati sa vlastitom "publikom" i cijene sve do i jednog citatelja/ gledatelja. Ima nas jos koji smo ovdje vodjeni strascu za modom i ljepotom i djeljenjem malih zenskih savjeta, a ne vodjeni idejom popularnosti i karijere.
Biti bloger danas je IN, zar ne? 

Video koji sam snimila 2010. bio je jedna forma Q & A videa, htjela sam vam na zanimljiv i originalan nacin predstaviti dijelic svog zivota i dati vam priliku da me malo bolje upoznate. Snimila sam ga u talijanskim brdima Vittorio Veneto, krajolici su fantasticni, a tocno godinu dana i sest mjeseci od pokretanja svog prvog youtube kanala.

Buduci da ovaj vikend putujem u Cortinu, htjela sam snimiti jedan takav format videa: Nesto tipa odgovor na moj video iz 2010. : 6 godina poslije!Ukoliko imate koje pitanje za mene, sada je prava prilika da mi ga postavite dolje u komentarima!Na njih cu odgovoriti u iducem videu iz Cortine i dajem shoutout svakom tko mi postavi pitanje!
