rimmel stay matte pressed powder review & demo

Hello beauties!

In this post I'm reviewing one of the cult make up products, and one of the must- haves in my beauty bag!

Rimmel London
Stay Matte
Pressed Powder
# 001 Transparent

Rimmel London Stay Matte pressed powder is such a beloved product by many, and the reason for that is quite simple: It's very affordable price wise, yet very high quality!
This product never failed me down: It sets my make up without altering the colour/texture of my foundation, and it matifies my face in a perfect day (with the exceptional lasting power!)
It contains natural minerals which help minimise the appearance of pores.

The container holds 14 g (0.48 oz); I've been using it on a daily basis, as a last step in my make up routine, and I've had it for months now! As you can tell from the pic above, I hit the pan on it and I'll soon need to repurchase it, but it did last me quite a while.

I bought it at my local supermarket in Italy, but I won't be making this mistake again! Thanks to my subscribers, I found out that in Italy, this product retails twice the price it has in other european countries!
In fact, on my recent trip to Croatia, I poped in one of the local beauty stores and discovered it retails at cca 38 kn (cca 5€), whereas in Italy I bought it for cca 10€.
That's quite absurd and I can't seem to figure out why is that so!

I like to apply this powder with my Sephora mineral powder brush #45

Rimmel Stay Matte is a very light texture powder, it's suitable for all skin types, but it's perfect for oily/combination skin.
I apply it only on my T-zone, where I know I risk to develop shine in a course of the day. I find that I don't even need to touch up my make up when I set it with this powder, even when I'm working long hours!
You can use it as a setting powder, on top of your foundation, or alone (I use it as a setting powder and that's why I went for the shade 001 transparent. If you use it alone, I suggest you pick it out in a shade that's the most similar to your skin tone, that way you'll have a better coverage.)

I've made a review video where I'm talking more about this pressed powder and I also did a little demo where I showed you how I apply it on my face so you can see the results and the finish.

FOTD & Make Up Chit Chat ♥

Hello lovelies!

I was testing out my new video camera :)

I wanted to film a make up tutorial, but instead I ended up doing a FOTD (face of the day) and a chit-chat, about the make up products that I'm currently using on a daily basis...

Let's see what's in my make- up bag, where I store all the make up that I'm using on a daily basis...

I got my red make up bag some time ago in Bipa drugstore in Croatia.
I like it because it's quite spacious, so all my daily necesities fit inside :)

What's in my make up bag?
Inside you'll find brands such as Chanel, Too Faced, Kiko, N.Y.C. & more!
It's packed fill with products ;)

I hope you enjoyed watching this make up chit chat!
Don't forget to press thumbs up on my video if you'd like to see more make up chit chats with me in the future :)

You can also support me by sharing this blog post with your friends :)

xoxo, S.

FOTD & Make Up Tutorial: Natural Springtime MakeUp for Everyday!

Hello beauties!

In my video archive, I found these two older vids and I thought I'll upload them again for you guys, as the look is so pretty, natural & easy to acheive.
Just perfect for Springtime as it makes your face really radiant and healthy looking!

I just quickly re-edited them, to make them a more up-to-date version, and I think the result is pretty enjoyable: In just a couple of minutes, I'm giving you all the necessary input on how to get this look, and effortlessly look great by enhancing your best features :)

FOTD: Natural Springtime Make Up for Everyday

I used very light colours of eyeshadows, that can be normally used as a highlighters (brands: Sephora, essence, Pupa), and then a dark grey eyeshadow (Inglot) just along my upper & lower lash line, applied as an eyeliner, with an angled eyeshadow brush (ecotools).

For the detailed list of all the products used, check out my Make Up tutorial, here:

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial and that you'll try out this look!

How do you do your daily make up in Springtime? :)
