OOTD: Shabby, but not so chic!

Hello lovelies!

How are you doing?
Here's a little update from me :-)

Looking shabby (but not so chic), as I’m about to start physical therapy for my neck at the island of Krk. Bajcici is a lovely little village and at this time of the year fields here are filled with little yellow flowers!
I had to cancel appointment at my hairdresser for the third time in a row as I’m still unable to move my neck freely and be comfortable in hairdresser’s chair. I’m trying to resist the urge to colour my hair at home as I know it never turns out as fab as when my hairdresser does it! I actually truly love my natural hair colour and wish I never coloured it but it’s a bit late to grow it all out now without also showing greys. I spent some time obsessing about having grey hair showing.
But then, today, I actually felt extremely grateful and happy that I actually have hair and I consider this period of not being able to colour it as an opportunity to make it the healthiest possible and give it a new vitality.
In regards to it I ordered amla oil and line seed oil, both great for hair care. I had great results using line seed oil in the past and in regards to amla oil, I heard it has the power of reversing grey hair and slowing down the aging process!
Have you heard about it or used it already? I’d love to hear your experiences with it.

So I just wanted to say, remember, there are always things in your life to be thankful for and that can be a source of happiness, even in challenging times! To be honest with you, it’s a lesson that I often forget but I feel I’m on the right path to succeeding in training my brain to always look at the bright side of life.

Even though this is probably not one of my best looks, I still wanted to share it here and give you a little update on what's currently going on in my life.
I'm usually a type of person that's used on doing things since I start my day, till I go to sleep at night. I always like to be busy and create, or tidy up the house...But in this period I'm learning that it's important to give your body opportunity to rest and heal, and it's important to know how to slow down and take it easy without feeling the guilt, thinking "I should have done more today".

Writing this post, I just realized, my entire outfit here was second hand :-) I think that's awesome! It's been a long while since I bought a piece of clothing that wasn't second hand, and I truly enjoy good second hand shopping! You guys already know that! ;-)

Crikvenica, my love :-)

Hello loves!

My today's post is from Crikvenica, cute little seaside town that I always like to visit.

The beaches here are beautiful, and the colors of the nature are so vivid! We had a little family trip one Sunday and stayed here until the sunset, and it was definitely an explosion of colors, it was so beautiful!

I hope you enjoyed looking at these photos. The nature is just so beautiful and calming!

Now let's quickly say a few words about my outfit (as you guys already know, I prefer second hand fashion), I wanted to wear something casual but cute, so this outfit turned out to be the perfect option.

Green is such a popular colour this season, and this little green jacket from Bershka is such a little gem, as I've had it in my wardrobe for many years already, and it seems to be so popular at the moment!

Green jacket: Bershka

Denim shirt: H&M

Pink sweater: Ralph Lauren (second hand)

Embroided jeans: Levi´s (second hand)

Boots: Dr. Marten´s Pascal Zebra limited edition (second hand)

Sunglasses: Max Mara

Leather backpack: Zalando

I hope you're all having a great Sunday and that you were able to chill and relax, take some time for yourself and just be happy :-)

Summer outfits vol.6: Primark's beach dress

Hello loves!

I'm back with another outfit post, again from my fave place, the beach of Cizici at the island of Krk in Croatia. It's truly a magical place for me, where I feel very relaxed and at peace. You'll probably see some more posts from this beautiful place!

As I've already mentioned, this summer I didn't buy any new clothing items, but everything that I bought was second hand! I managed to find great deals and such cool pieces and I was able to totally renew my wardrobe for just a fraction of the price of what I would have usually spent!

This lovely knitted beach dress is also second hand (originally from Primark) and this summer it was my most worn item for the beach, because it's just so easy to just throw on, and it looks great!

My headband is from H&M (I've had it for many years), it's that Missoni style that's always in!

Sunglasses are from Pepco, very cheap and very lightweight and I absolutely love this shape.

I hope you like this look!

Tell me all about your happy place! :-)

I'll talk to you soon, I have a couple of more summer outfit posts to share with you before the September ends!

Summer outfits vol.1

 Hello lovelies!

I'm sorry I haven't been very active on my blog this summer, but I really wanted to show you now some of the outfits I've been wearing these past couple of months.

Another thing that made me stay a bit away from blogging is, I was let down by some companies with whom I had collaboration deals. I wrote two blog posts for Just Fashion Now and Chamaripa shoes, and they never compensated me for it, they just stopped replying to my emails. This was very unprofessional and it never happened to me before, and I've been collaborating with different brands here on my blog for years now, always based on mutual trust and respecting the deal that we established.

I was very disappointed and it was also a big waste of my time, that I could have spent doing something more productive.

So, if you are a fellow blogger, I advise you to stay away from these two companies, Just Fashion Now and Chamaripa shoes, as you might get scammed!

Anyways, I'm going to show you, before the summer ends, all the outfits that I posted on my instagram

Outfit details:

Top: Intimissimi

Patchwork skirt: second hand

Dr. Martens sandals

Mango straw material bag

Sunglasses: Max Mara

Most of this outfit is made by second hand items, only the Intimissimi top is what I actually bought in a store, but years and years ago, and it's still beautiful and in a perfect condition.

It was the perfect outfit for the summer heat. Dr. Marten's sandals are extremely comfy, and I have two videos (reviews) of Dr. Marten's sandals (Voss 2 and Blair model) in case you're interested, check them out here:

Take care guys, I'm sending you lots of love from Croatia <3 Thanks for reading my blog!

I'll talk to you soon!
