Hello beauties!

Summer is my favourite time of the year, I love anything related to summer, but more than anything else, I love spending time at the beach! :)

I particularly enjoy picking up new bikinis and creating summer/beachwear stylings!

You asked me to show you my new bathing suits & what would I wear on top, when heading to the beach, so I've decided to put together a short lookbook video.

My Bikini Collection!

Since the Summer is...

...just around the corner (even though, for the past couple of days, the weather has turned crazyyyy- chilly again!!!), and since this is the third week in a row that I'm doing my toning excercises daily (!! yeay for me being so consistent!), I've decided to finally show you my (BIG) bikini collection in a video :)

I'm just addicted when it comes to bikini shopping & I just love summer, going to the beach & wear a different bikini every day!

I usually get my bikinis at the end of summer, at outlets, or at the very beginning of summer season, if I can manage to find some sort of a special promotion going on (like at H&M, they currently have bikinis for 4.95€ top & 4.95€ bottom part, which makes it less than 10€ for an entire bikini, and they're all very summery & quite cute!)

Best places to shop for a bikini, in my opinion, are:

- H&M

- Camaieu

- Calzedonia

- Tzenis

- Golden Point

- Yamamay

Bikini Haul & How To Find the Right Swimsuit for Your Body Type!

I couldn't resist so I bought quite a few, but if I could, I would buy the entire collection, no doubt about it :)

I couldn't resist this colourful swimsuit, the neon yellow is
very trendy this season & I love the floral print!

This season, H&M is the right place for swimsuit shopping, they have got a huge selection of pretty swimsuits, very affordable price wise and you can buy tops and bottoms separately, which means that you can mix & match, the colours, the fantasies and the sizes too!

If you're bigger on the top and smaller at the bottom, or the other way around, you still won't have any problems in choosing the right bikini for you!

And here are some tips in choosing the right bikini, based on your body type:

NO WAIST

- If you don't have many curves, create some by wearing one- piece suit with a high- on - the - thigh cut.

- Bikinis are good for you. Add some illusion at the hips with rings, ruffles & bows.

- Avoid solid- coloured or horizontal striped one- pieces.

WIDE SHOULDERS

- Wear bikini bottoms that have lots of color and print. The new, moderate cut bottom was made for you!

-Wear wide shoulder straps and square necklines.

- Avoid the "V" silhouette.

PLUS SIZE FIGURE

- Look for one- piece swimsuits with lace or mesh inserts.

- A strategically placed cut- out , or a deep "V" neckline.

- Lengthen your thigh with an adjustable ruching detail at the hip.

- Wear a sheer sarong.

- Dark, cool colors.

- Avoid too much fabric, stay away from white, as well as bright, neon fabrics.

TOO MUCH TUMMY?

- Try one of those fabulous tummy , control panel, swimsuits.

They work wonders!

- Two piece swimsuit: Tankinis.

- A one- piece with some draping around the waist or hips.

- Avoid itsy bitsy bikinis and solid- coloured, one- pieces.

SUMMER EDITION: My Swimsuit/Bikini Collection & Tips in Choosing the Right Bikini

Hello lovelies!

In my today's video, I shared with you one part of my HUGE bikini/swimsuit collection :)

I live for the summer, I adore everything about it & if I could, I would spend my life at the beach!

That's why I'm such a big addict when it comes to beachwear shopping!

The swimsuits that I'm showing you today, are definitely among my favourites!

I like to shop for beachwear in these stores:

- Calzedonia

- Camaieu

- Goldenpoint

- Yamamay

- H&M

These are some of my favourite places for bikini shopping ;)

My bikinis last me definitely more than one season! I have bikinis in my collection, that have over six years and still look brand new!

I'm always very careful when it comes to maintaining them in a perfect condition: I always hand wash them and never leave them to dry at midday sun (I don't want the fabric to loose its shape and the colours to fade!)

& now, onto the tips in choosing the right bikini for your body type!


SMALL ON TOP


- Look for tops with a touch of padding, or an under- wire, demi- bra style that makes the most of a beautiful, dainty, bust line.
Try to find a top with adjustable straps at shoulders and around back so that you can tighten and adjust things, to help fill out the top line.
- You are very lucky that you have the body to wear those cute, ruffled tops that are so hot right now, so go for it.
And as for bandeau tops, only you can wear those well.
You can also show off in those tiny, tri- tops that the big busted girls only dream about.
- Avoid tops with too much fabric or have a poor fit.
Opt for separates, where you can choose your top and bottom separately.


BIG ON TOP


- You may need some extra support; underwire tops can work well and look great.
- Halter- top bikinis are also good for you and will look very flattering on you.
- One- piece swimsuits with some structure in the bust
- Wide shoulder straps will be much more comfortable than thin, spaghetti straps.


SHORT LEGS OR TORSO


- Find a suit that is cut high on the tigh.
- Vertical stripes can visually lengthen the body.
- Wear a solid bottom bikini with a printed top.
- A solid, one-piece suit with a plunging neckline.


LONG BODY SHAPE


- Go wild with the embellishments at the hips and bust line.
Rings, jewels, ties and bows are all good things for you.
- Horizontal stripes, fabrics such as stretch terry and velvet can be very flattering on your body.
- Wear super bright colours, plus they're so trendy right now!
- Cut- out one- piece swimsuit.
- Boy shorts, ruffled skirts and cover- ups.
