New In: Affordable, Pigmented Makeup from Born Pretty Store

Hello lovelies!

Today's post is a #NewIn haul. I ordered a few bits from bornprettystore, the brand I've been collaborating with since I started my youtube & blogger journey! They've always been appealing to me, because of the good quality items at very affordable prices! I'm sure there's actually no need for me to praise them, since most of you already know about them and to prove that most things they offer go out of stock super quickly!
This time I ordered 4 makeup items for a total of $10 budget! As I'm more conscious about my beauty purchases, I only go for the items I need and know that I would get to use on a day to day basis.

Anyway, here's what I purchased:

8 Colors Shimmer Eyeshadow Makeup Palette Long Lasting Eyeshadow 9 Pattens #24110 available here for $ 2.59.

It's a very cute eyeshadow palette, ideal for traveling or when you're on the go. The eyeshadows are very pigmented, mostly shimmery and they do have some fall out but if you go light handed and you're careful enough, they're easy to apply!

This palette comes in different color options so you can choose the one that best suits you!

To make the eyeshadows more long lasting, I picked the BONNIE CHOICE 6ml Eye Shadow Primer Make Up Base Natural Professional Long-lasting Cosmetic Cream #42350 available here for $ 2.99.

This is also a makeup primer that's supposed to smooth out the fine lines and wrinkles and you can use it on your eyelids and or the rest of the face.

I'm very happy with the quality of Bonnie Choice products and I've mentioned this in one of my previous post, their super pigmented and long lasting lipsticks, that are simply a must have for anyone who loves a good matte liquid lipstick that also has a great staying power!

Next in my shopping cart, I added a 1Pc Glow Shimmer Liquid Highlighter Moisture Shine Makeup Face Eye Contour Brightener Concealer #40172 available here for $ 2.59.

This is such an amazing highlighter!

You can use it under your eyes to brighten up that area or you can apply it as a highlighter on your cheekbones, cupid's bow or wherever you usually like to add a bit of a highlighter.
Extremely pigmented and just beautiful, moonlight/rose color!

Hurry up, these are selling like crazy!

Last, but not least, Mascara Blue Purple Brown Gradient Colorful Curling Eyelash Cosmetic 5 Colors Selectable #161 available here for $ 2.49.

The black one was sold out, so I went for the brown (I haven't used a brown mascara since high school days!). I like the fact that it really curls and lengthens your eyelashes, but I'm not a big fan of waterproof mascaras. However, it was handy to have it this summer and with a good oil based make up remover, it wasn't such a hassle removing it from my eyes in the evening (I recommend Caudalie, Burt's Bees, or Balea from Drogerie Markt if you're on a budget, oil based makeup removers!)

That's my little makeup haul.

I'm very happy with all of these items and I've been using them constantly as a part of my makeup routine for the past month!

Make Up Haul: Kiko & MAC

Hello ladies!

Recently I wrote about my mini haul at MAC...you can read all about it
I bought just two items, but these ones were definitely on the top of my wish list.

With my MAC purchases, I also got some free samples of Biotherm & Clarins.

In my recent video, I'm showing you this haul, and a few other goodies that I bought at Kiko store!

Just click on the link bellow to watch my video:

At Kiko I had a bit more fun, due to the fact that it's much more convenient price wise, and I think I've chosen some really nice things!

At Kiko, I bought:

- Brush Cleanser (50ml) : No-rinse gentle brush cleanser. Removes make-up residue and cleans bristles deep down, leaving them soft and shiny and keeping them in good condition.
How to use:
Spray directly on the bristles, then wipe the bristles with a tissue to eliminate all residue.

- Kiko Face brush # 106 stippling brush

- Kiko nail lacquer # 340

- Kiko lip volume plumping lip cream

I'm really happy with these things, especially with my MAC haul, I love the bold coral colour of "Vegas Volt" lipstick!
I love both of the brushes that I've got, the blending brush by MAC (217) and the stippling brush by Kiko, I use it to apply my liquid foundation.

The vintage blue colour is amazing for Spring & Summer days!

Kiko lip volume lip cream did let me down, I must say :(
I had higher expectations! It comes off easily and the plumping effect disappears as soon as the cream is gone from your lips...isn't even that moisturizing...ughh :(
I will continue using it, until I finish it, but this is a product that I won't be repurchasing!

I hope you find this review/haul interesting & helpful :)

BIG Avon Haul! :)

Do you girls like Avon?

I personally do, I have been an Avon rep. for ... I'd say 10 years now... (!!)
Nowadays, I sell it only to my Mum & to myself, lol, as I'm still Avon representative in Croatia, but I'm not there very often, so I don't have time or occasion to search for a clients & then, to keep the customers satisfied... ;D
I used to sell it to other people every now & then, whenever an occasion would arrise, but due to my constant travellings, I was never able to be consistent at that and expand (or even mantain) my clientele.

So now I just focus on indulging myself & my Mum into some serious Avon goodies hauling :)

I usually order it on-line & then, when I go to visit my family in Croatia, there is already a package waiting for me!

In the past, I have dedicated a few vids of mine to Avon reviews & hauls, and this here is my most recent one:

Loving my Avon goodies ;)
Here are the products that I got recently:

Solutions Vibes Power Cleanser
I really like this little "device"!
It leaves my skin feeling clean & refreshed.

In the past month or so, I've been fighting blemishes with
Clearskin professional line.
This line won't give you an instant results, you have to be very consistent & use
these products religiously.
After one month you'll slowly (but surely) start noticing the improvements!

Anew Rejuvenate line
I'm not 30 just yet, but I wanted to try this line as it's still
formulated for young skin & the active ingredients in this line should help
in fighting the first visible signs of ageing.
Nothing too strong though, as I've said, this line is created for younger skin, not for
the mature one.
I actually liked all these products pretty much!
Especially the eye cream& the  face serum!

Avon Make Up:
- In the past, some of Avon's eyeshadows have let me down :(
However this is not the case with Avon's 8 in 1 eye palettes!
I already have two of them & now I purchased this third one
(I couldn't resist, the colours were soo pretty!)
This one is in "Tempting tones"
- I do LOVE the lip glosses by Avon!
My recent purchase is Glazewear Shine in "Tickled Pink"
- Avon Super Shock gel eyeliner/eye-liner gel in black has become
 my absolute must-have!!!
Something I can't stop recommending ;)

Skin so Soft line: Mineral Gems Glamorous Gold
Currently I'm using this sparkly golden oil as my
body moisturizer :)

Foot Works
I love to do my pedicure at home & this Pomegranate Chocolate
Soothing Foot Soak is a-m-a-z-i-n-g
I also have the Pomegranate Chocolate Moisturising Foot Cream
that I apply on my feet after the pedicure.

Other Avon goodies:
I'm looking forward to trying out the "Solutions Body Instant Tone" body
tightening spray! Will it work? ahem... (!!)
Also, Moisturizing Mist Hair Spray with macadamia & aloe sounds promissing :)
I have a few products from ANew Clinical line, such as Derma- Full Lip Volumiser
& a sample size of Clinical Thermafirm Face Lifting Cream.

I hope you girls enjoyed my haul/ quick review!
If you're interested to know more info on any of these products in particular, don't hesitate to request it & I'll be glad to do another Avon video and/or blog post.

& ... Don't forget to tell me all about your Avon Must-Haves!

xoxo,
Sonja

Collective Make up Haul: Kiko, Lush, MAC!

Hello girls!

Finally, I'm here to tell you all about my little make up haul :)
I wrote about it in one of my previous blog posts (the one mentioning my visit to the Venice carnival...)& asked you to be a bit patient with me because I wanted to film a video about my haul and then write about it here on my blog...
So, the video is up!
You can watch it HERE!!!

My make up haul ;)

Here are my new goodies that make me happy ;)

Kiko Make up Milano

Kiko 30 Days Extension
Night Treatment Booster

This is how the brush looks like.
This night treatment is a clear gel
consistency.

I'm yet to do a proper review on this product (expect it after 30 days, because this is how long it takes for this treatment to start showing the results.)
How to use: Apply to lashes after removing all make- up, for 30 nights in a row.
How it works: Thanks to the innovative K2 pro- growth complex, lash growth increases by 169% after only 30 days of application. K2 pro- growth complex is a veritable supplement for eyelashes that is absorbed and metabolized by their structure, enhancing their natural growth.

Lush

My hubby& I have chosen 2 "Cazzilli" bars :)
The soap was a sample/ gift from Lush.
My hubby & I really wanted to try out these "Cazzilli" bars that are supposed to bring you an aromatherapy experience in your shower!
We have chosen to try out these two: "Frizzolo" (with "awakening" effect) and "Sbronzolo" ( "restoring" effect.)
Honestly, I haven't tried these out yet! My hubby tried one chunk of "Frizzolo" (btw, "Frizzolo" is the one with a little orange man imprinted in the middle) and he wasn't too thrilled with it. He says he wouldn't repurchase it.
But, we'll wait for my opinion... ;)

MAC

I haven't picked out anything from the "Wonder Woman"
collection but they gave me this cute card.

My picks at MAC :)
Mineralize Skinfinish Natural
in Medium Plus

Currently, "Medium Plus" is the right shade for my
skin tone!

This has been my little object of desire for several months now:
MAC iridescent powder/loose
in Silver Dusk

I'm really happy with my purchases at MAC because these two products have been on the very top of my wish list for a while now!
I haven't purchased anything from MAC in a while & now it seemed like a perfect occasion to treat myself a little bit! :)
MAC in Italy is so freaking expensive, it's outrageous!
These two products cost me 54 € and I think this is a lot of money to give for a two make up items!
I'll be very careful with my budget until the end of this month... I just don't want to waste my money here & there & everywhere, just accumulating stuff... lol

But these are the two items that, like I've said, I really wanted for a long time so I know they won't just be sitting in my drawer, but I'll have many usage out of them!

MAC mineralize skinfinish is something I'm planning on wearing even more frequently with the arrival of warmer days, instead of my liquid foundation.
And the "Silver Dusk" iridescent loose powder is just amazing!

You can use it in numerous different ways:

to illuminate a certain parts of your face,
you can use it on top of your eyeshadow or,
as a highlight under your eyes or,
 under the brow bone...
also,  you can mix it with your liquid foundation for the radiant& illuminating effect!

Amazing product, this is my top recommendation!!!

Do you like MAC products and is MAC as expensive in your country too?
What is your all time favourite product by MAC?

I'll talk to you soon,

xoxo
