6 Ways to Style Floral Crowns // 6 ideja frizura sa cvjetnom krunom!

Today on my blog I have a hair tutorial for you :)

I actually filmed this video tutorial a few months back, but I forgot to post the pics of the hairstyles here on my blog!

Actually, when I was going through my files, I was wondering whether I already posted this tutorial or not, and I had to do a little research on my blog to see if anything pops up in the results!

It would be awkward to write about the same thing twice!

Anyway, these are 6 quick hairstyling ideas with a floral headband (but I also like to use a floral crown; I have two: one is more of a "summer" version, whilst the other one, because of its colours, is more "autumnal", at least I like to think so!)

& here is how my floral crowns look like:

Anyway, back to my tutorial...I was using my pretty floral headband from H&M, and I created 6 different hairstyling ideas (all these are very quick & easy to do, yet at the same time cute, girly and pretty!)

This one is very easy, effortless, boho- chic look, ideal for summer festivals :)

I like to add to my hair these loose curls when doing this style (I curl my hair with Imetec Bellissima hair curling iron - hair tutorial here)

High ponytail is always a fun way to wear your hair!

I like to decorate it with my floral headband that in this occasion, I use as a hair tie (I wrap it around my ponytail several times, until it's tight enough!)

This half updo is very similar to the first hairstyling idea, except that the hair that frames your face will be gathered, and the rest of the hair you'll let loose!

Secure the front sections with the bobby-pins!

This is also very bohemian, carefree, messy look! Just the way I like it :)

This inverted side ponytail is my fix for a bad hair day! It's very similar to a fishtail, but even easier to do! People always compliment me on this hairstyle and wonder was it difficult to do, haha :)

Here again, I use my floral headband as a hair tie.

This crazy coloured fishtail is one of my favourite hairstyles!
I use Kiko Make Up Milano hair shadow to colour my hair (it washess off in only one wash, no worries!)

I love the hair chalking trend! It's crazy, fun & colorful! It's a nice & quick way to play with my hair colour, whenever I feel like changing it up a bit, but still when I'm not up for any permanent change!

This high, voluminous bun looks more chic & so cute with the floral headband wrapped around it!

Dragi pratitelji mog hrvatskog youtube kanala, ovaj tjedan nece biti novog videa :(
Video je spreman, ali zbog poteskoca sa internet linijom ("pusti otok" na kojem zivim nema adsl linije!), nisam ga u mogucnosti uploadati! Vjerojatno ce ici tek pocetkom mjeseca studenoga! Ispricavam se zbog toga i radim na tome da dobijem flat liniju kako se i pristoji jednom "busy" bloggeru, zar ne?
Do tada, predlazem vam da pogledate par starijih videa sa mojeg hrvatskog kanala, koje ste mozda propustili (SoniaVerardo), a ja sam odlucila raditi  na ovom blog postu koji ce popratiti slijedeci "hair tutorijal" video: frizure sa cvjetnom krunom

Jeste li ga vec vidjeli?

Ja sam ovaj tutorijal snimila prije par mjeseci i nisam do sada imala vremena popratiti ga sa blog postom!

Moram priznati da sam morala napraviti malu pretragu svoga vlastitog bloga, kako bih se uvjerila da vec nisam objavila post o ovim frizuricama! Bio bi bas "bad", pisati o istoj stvari dvaput, zar ne? O_O

Ja se nadam da ce vam ove ideje biti korisne!
Ukoliko i sami napravite jednu od u videu predlozenih frizura, posaljite mi vase slicice :)

Iako sam video tutorijal snimala u ljetnim mjesecima, ove frizure mogu se nositi i sada u jesen, kao sto mozete vidjeti iz jedne od slicica gore, ja sam si kupila i "jesenju" verziju cvijetne krune (prevladavaju tamne boje!) i volim ju nositi, ma bas mi je super modni dodatak! ;)

Chanel Eyelash Curler VS Drugstore (Review & Demo!)

Today's post is all about my favourite eyelash curler!
I used to think eyelash curler doesn't really serve and it does absolutely nothing for your eyelashes.

I bought my first eyelash curler in a local drugstore, and, after several attempts of using it, I eventually threw it away, disappointed.

Then, my whole adventure of youtube beauty guru on youtube started, and I found myself convinced that I need to have an eyelash curler in my collection of make up tools :)
I went again to my local drugstore, picked up another eyelash curler (for only 1€), and tried again...at this point I was so frustrated! What was everyone raving about?? Famous beauty bloggers saying that they can't imagine their make up routine without their trusty eyelash curler???

My experience was the total opposite: It was a complete waste of time that gave me no results whatsoever!

because of the way it's shaped, the metal at the top part clashes with my eyebrow bone, and I just can't grab all my eyelashes into the curler :(

My drugstore eyelash curler was once again long forgotten, "collecting the dust" in my make up collection...

But THEN...people started raving about the Chanel (and Shu Uemura) eyelash curlers, as being among the best curlers in the market! As I was unable to get the Shu Uemura one, but also, because I was never disappointed with the Chanel make up, I decided to take another chance (third time's the charm!) and at my local Sephora, I purchased the Chanel eyelash curler!
I had 20% discount code, so the price of it was a bit easier to handle! :)

Once I tried it, I understood what's all the hype about and since then, I really can't imagine doing my eye make up without using my trusty Chanel eyelash curler! ;)

the chanel eyelash curler (on the left), has got a different shape of the top part and it grabs all of my eyelashes perfectly!
as a result, even without mascara, my eyelashes seem longer and more defined :)
i love it! it's definitely worth the price and leaves up to the hype!

Danas vam donosim recenziju moje omiljene stvarcice u kolekciji make up"alata" :)...govorim o Chanelovom uvijacu za trepavice!

Dugo sam bila uvjerenja da je uvijac za trepavice besmislena i potpuno beskorisna stvarcica. Svoj prvi uvijac za trepavice kupila sam prije puno godina u lokalnoj drogeriji, pokusala ga koristiti par puta i kako jednostavno nije islo, uvijac je prilikom prvog veceg ciscenja zavrsio u smecu!


Nakon sto sam zapocela avanturu beauty bloggera na youtube-u, ponovno sam se uvjerila da je uvijac za trepavice od presudne vaznosti i da ga pod hitno moram nabaviti!
I ponovno sam se zaputila u drogeriju, izabrala novi uvijac (bio je vrlo jeftin, nisam platila vise od 1€!)...ali su rezultati bili katastrofalni: Zbog svoje forme, uvijac se "sudarao" sa mojom strukturom kostiju ocne supljine (ne znam kako da vam to opisem, ali u videu- demonstraciji koju sam vam snimila tocno cete vidjeti o cemu se radi!)tako da jednostavno nisam uspijela skupiti sve trepavice u uvijac i sve se pokazalo poprilicnim gubitkom vremena!

Da li ste i vi ikada imali slican problem sa uvijacima za trepavice??

Uskoro je i ovaj uvijac za trepavice poceo "sakupljati prasinu" u mojoj make up kolekciji...
Nikako mi nije bilo jasno...toliko beauty vloggerica u svojim tutorijalima tvrdi da ne moze zamisliti make up ociju bez svog omiljenog uvijaca za trepavice???
...da bi na pusti otok ponijele svoj uvijac za trepavice??? ;)

Moj zivot i make up rutina tekao je savrseno i bez uvijaca za trepavice...sve dok me kolegice beauty bloggerce nisu zainteresirale za Chanel i Shu Uemura, najhvaljenije uvijace za trepavice!

Buduci da mi Shu Uemura brand nije bio lako dostupan tu gdje zivim, odlucila sam se za Chanel (a i zbog toga sto me njihov make up nikada nije razocarao)..."treca sreca", kako se kaze, pokazala se istinitom uzrecicom!
Cim sam isprobala Chanelov uvijac za trepavice, shvatila sam sto ta mala stvarcica zapravo znaci i koliko mi je potrebna u svakodnevnoj make up rutini!

Svoj Chanel uvijac za trepavice kupila sam u lokalnoj Sephori u Italiji, a imala sam tada kupon za popust od 20% tako da je cijena uvijaca bila laksa za prihvatiti :)

Rezultat koji pruza mojim trepavicama zaista je vidljiv (a primjetiti cete i u video recenziji), trepavice su i bez maskare istaknutije i djeluju duze. Zbog svoje strukture, vrlo lako uvija sve moje trepavice bez poteskoca koje su mi predstavljali uvijaci iz lokalnih drogerija, nepoznatih brandova...

Bourjois Healthy Balance Unifying Powder Review & Demo!

Today's post is beauty related (actually, make up!). 
I'm going to review the face powder that I've been loving at the moment!
It's the Bourjois Healthy Balance Unifying Powder, that I use in a shade #52 and it fits my complexion perfectly!

Unfortunately, the Bourjois brand is impossible to get a hold of here in Italy (??? can't understand why!!!), so I usually stock up on my Bourjois faves whenever I go to Croatia.
The last time I was there, I went to my local drugstore and, browsing through the Bourjois make up, I spotted this product and thought I'd give it a go, because I do have a liquid version of it (the Healthy Balance foundation), and I love it, so I thought I'm going to be pleased with this one too, and I was so right!

This powder is packed with the good ingredients that take care of your skin: 

- Sharon fruit for hydration, 

- Yuzu fruit (anti-brilliance). 

It does have a very pleasant, fruity fragrance (but nothing too heavy!)

It leaves your face with a matt finish, but it'll also give it a very natural, healthy glow.

It's pretty long lasting, so once I apply it I know I'm set for the day (even when I work long hours, there is no need to touch up!).

Some beauty bloggers compare it to the Chanel's Les Beiges compact powder (which is highly talked about, but also it's so much more expensive!).

As Bourjois brand is actually "Chanel's little sister"; both brands are owned by the same company, the formulas they use are actually pretty similar (the difference being a packaging and a prestigious name!).

I have been using my Bourjois Healthy Balance powder every day for the past couple of months, to set my make up,
so as you can tell I managed to hit the pan on it!
Will be stocking up on this product the next time I go to Croatia! :))

In my video review, I also showed you a little demo on how I apply this product (depending on the results you want to acheive, I recommended using two different brushes...one is for more natural effect, whereas when used with another brush, this product will give you a bit of extra coverage, without the risk of looking cakey!)...

My verdict about this product:

It's an absolut must-have in your beauty kit!

This product will really stand up to all your expectations :)

this powder will give you a matt finish, but it'll also allow your face too look very natural and healthy!
it's recommended for all skin types, but it'll be awesome for the combo/problem skin too, as it contains zinc, so it won't break you out or additionally irritate your skin!
I like to use it for my problem T zone and it really works its magic!
