Hair extensions and trying out different hairstyles!

Hi guys!

You know I often give you tips on hair extensions and recommend shops that sell great quality hair extensions for good prices. I get asked a lot a question about hair extensions and whether I wear them on a daily basis...Just to clear things out, I don't wear hair extensions on a daily basis. My hair is naturally quite long, so I don't need hair extensions to make it longer, but I do like to use them every now and then, to add volume to my hair.
When my hair is super voluminous, I find that I can be more creative with different hairstyles, especially side braids and eye catching fishtails. Those are my favourite summer hair styles and everybody always compliments my hair when I wear it like that!

As I'm a beauty/ fashion blogger, trying out new styles is something of my interest, so over the past years, I got two sets of hair extensions. Sometimes I'll use them for a special events I might have, or just when I want to look extra glam for filming a video, or have fun filming a hair tutorial!

Today's post is about hair extensions!
You all know by now, my hair is pretty long as it is and I don't need to wear hair extensions on a daily basis!
However, I do like to occasionally wear them, to add volume to my hair :) I'll usually clip them in when I'm doing more elaborated hairstyles that look better with a lot of hair!
I also love to use them when I'm doing side braids, or fishtails as those hairstyles look so much cooler when the hair is extremely thick!

We're talking about 100% remy human hair, I got them in a shade that was the most similar to my hair colour, which was 27/613.
It matches pretty good my hair colour, so it goes to show that the colour chart on their website is pretty accurate!
It's 24" long hair (so it's actually pretty long!)


The hair is very soft & silky to the touch and overall it seems like a good quality hair!

How To Clip in Hair Extensions

Hello dolls!

Today I'm going to show you how to clip in your hair extensions!

Yes, it is a very simple thing to do, but it's also true that I personally, watched a video tutorial/demo, or two, before I actually started clipping my hair extensions into my hair! :)

I was curious to know is there a certain technique, or a little tips & tricks to pick up, that would make this process just more simple and quicker!

So, the things I picked up along the way, now I'm passing them onto you! ;)

I hope this will be interesting to anyone who has just purchased a clip in hair extensions and still needs to get used to wearing them, or whoever is considering getting a set!

 How to clip in your hair extensions?

(the point is, to clip them in, in a way that they stay seamless in your hair and blend in with your real hair, for an overall, very natural result!)

I took some screen shots from my video tutorial, to show you guys how it goes...

With 12 pcs, 160gr of the hair extensions, my hair has gained so much in volume!

Step 1.
Separate your hair into layers, starting from the bottom one.

Step 2.
Place the weft just above the first section and clip the extensions in.

Step 3.
Take another section of your hair

Step 4.
Place another weft and clip it firmly in your hair

Step 5.
Repeat until you have placed all the wefts in your hair.
Make sure to brush your hair afterwards, to blend in your real hair with the hair extensions for a very natural result!
These hair extensions are tangle free, so you don't have to worry about them getting all tangled up in your real hair!
