FITTEA BODY DETOX 28 NIGHTS PURE NIGHT REVIEW

Hi guys!

Recently I teamed up with Fittea to try out some of their popular products and bring you my review!
I was very eager to try out the Body Detox Pure Night tea, as it's one of their newest products, and the list of ingredients sounded amazing :-)

I can say that this tea has got the most amazing scent, and the best taste EVER!
I didn't even need to put any sweetener in it, the taste is already perfect the way it is :-)
Also, it has got great hydrating properties, and it'll keep your body hydrated all through the night.
My hubby also LOVED it!

But, because I'm breastfeeding, I couldn't continue using it, as I noticed my baby was restless after having his feed (a few hours after I drank this tea). I was super relaxed and ready to have a good night's sleep, my baby, on the contrary, wasn't! Now, I can't be 100% sure that this tea caused my baby to be more agitated, but, I didn't have courage to try again...I was already sleep deprived as it was (my baby was only two months old when I tried this, so he was waking up every 2-3 hours during the night, for his feed)...I needed all the sleep I could get!
This tea contains all natural ingredients, and it doesn't contain caffeine, and it'll relax you and get you right in the sleep mode...but not all the herbs will have the same effect on your baby, coming through your milk! In fact, a lot of herbs aren't indicated when breastfeeding as they can have negative side effects on the babies!

Having said that, if you aren't breastfeeding, I guarantee you, this is the most amazing tea ever!
If you want to have a relaxing moment of pure indulgence, Fittea Body Detox tea is the right choice for you :-)
I will go on drinking it, once I'm done breastfeeding.

Healthy Afternoon Snack Idea!

Hello lovelies!

I have prepared a diet/recipe video for you, where I show you what I usually eat as an afternoon snack!
This "snack" is really healthy and it boosts up your energy, and it won't make you gain weight, I promise!

This is also a good idea how to stop bad food cravings, because once you start treating yourself with these types of "snacks", your body will crave for more and won't even remember to crave for other, unhealthy snacks and greasy/processed food!

Here is my video where I'm sharing with you how I prepare my afternoon snack:



Greek yoghurt with strawberries, blueberries, granola cereals with chunks of chocolate, honey flavoured biscuits, and fruit jam on top!

I love fruits and yoghurt, honey and cereals, so to me, this is truly a match made in heaven :)

I like to accompany this snack with a cup of green (or white) tea, and some extra honey (I love honey!).


I always feel so good, satisfied and healthy after this snack! And energised :)

How to Stop Bad Food Cravings!

Hello lovelies!


I filmed a video that should inspired all of you to eat healthier, and to avoid junk food! :)

Sometimes it's hard to say "no" to certain foods that actually aren't good for your body, (but hey, they taste good!)...or we have "a sweet tooth" and we just get these sugar cravings...it may taste unbelievebly well for a few sec. but in the long run, it won't do us anything good!

At the beginning, it may be hard to stop these bad food cravings, but it is definitely possible! You just need to have a strong will and be determined!
You need to slowly start introducing healthy substitutes for the junk food you're currently addicted to...for example...if you have the habbit of eating chocolate every day as an "afternoon snack", buy a pack of dried apples instead, mix them with some dried cranberries...and to your snack add a slice of bread with jam (make sure it doesn't have any sugar added!)...

You can also enjoy preparing delicious fruit salads, mixing your favourite fruits together, adding some cereals and honey...

After a while, I promise, you'll realize that you don't crave those bad, junk food you used to crave so much!
Your body will simply adjust to this new, healthier way of eating, and you'll feel a certain gratification, not to mention that you'll be healthier & overall, feel so much better (and look better!)

Mind me, I'm not saying that from now on you should only eat fruit salads!!! I'm all for a variety when it comes to my meals, so I do eat meat, fish, vegetables, pasta, dairy etc., all with moderation!
I would stay away from fried food, greasy food, food with many colorants, conservants and added sugar...I try to focus on unprocessed food (as much as I can) and prepare my own meals from scratch!

Food & Health: Weekly Grocery Haul & How to Stop Bad Cravings!

Hello girls!

My today's video is a grocery haul, where I'm also trying to give you some useful tips & advices on how to eat healthier & how to stop bad food cravings!

After the holiday season, we all need to "get back on track", and  eat more fruits and vegetables, avoiding completely the junk food & greasy, fried food.

Hopefully my grocery shopping will inspire you :)

I always try to eat healthy, but always try to vary my diet too. 
I think eating in moderation is a key to healthy & balanced lifestyle!

Italy is known for it's fine cuisine & lots of delicacy!
I truly love the food over here! :)

I'm croatian, and I lived in the UK for a while too, but I can honestly say, only in Italy have I found the food paradise :)

Here are some of the things I often eat:

Apples, bananas and chestnut jam...one of my favourite healthy afternoon snacks!

"Cestino di frutta", italian cake with red berries...
...to satisfy my "sweet tooth"...

Nail Polish of the Week & a Quick Healthy Snack Idea!

Hello lovelies!

Here is a little something exclusive for the lovely readers of my blog!
This week I have discovered a new line of nail polishes made in italy, by the name "Arcobaleno", which transfered in english, means "Rainbow". The name of the brand makes sense, giving the fact that they have, like one million different shades of nail polishes!
The packaging isn't anything spectacular, but what makes this brand special is its price (each polish costs only 0.99 cent!) and its durability! They're quite long lasting indeed!
I picked up only one, just because I have an outrageous collection of nail polishes and don't really need another one...but...to my defense, this is the shade I didn't have in my collection yet!

The nail polish is true to the colour in the bottle, after just one application!
However, I like to apply two coats of nail polish, so even today, with this polish, I applied two coats!
& it dries pretty fast :)
This colour reminds me a lot on OPI's nail polish "Thanks A WindMillion" from the Holland Collection. It looks even more as its dupe, in the "real life".

I might just go & buy more of these "Arcobaleno" nail polishes...I'm in a big temptation! lol
Anyway, this is what's on my nails this week :)

While writing this post, I'm snacking on something really yummy!
So I wanted to quickly share my meal, as a healthy snack idea :)

I'm snacking on:
- some spelled grains (Farro is the word for it in italian) dipped in honey, with some extra honey of orange blossom added on top (the brand I use is "Ambrosoli Miele")
- grapes
- peach
- banana
YUM!!! ;)

My ideal afternoon snack :)

On my formspring, I got asked so many times, to do this type of video, a video that would show you my diet, what I normally eat in a day.


So the other day, I took my camera and started filming my meals, starting from breakfast...I included all the meals I had that day, even the "unhealthy" snacks ;)

I try to eat different things every day, just because I like to vary my diet!

Get Your Body Ready for Summer!

Hello beauties!


With the arrival of warmer days, and summer being just around the corner, I thought I'd share with you my little tips & tricks on how to easily get your body in a perfect shape for summer, for the beach!

This video was highly requested by many of you, and especially from my croatian speaking audience, so I took a few extra minutes, and filmed two videos: In english, and in croatian language.

I hope you'll find this video interesting & helpful, I tried to concentrate on a few basic, easy to follow, advices, that I always try to listen, and have never failed me when it comes to delivering results!

My little tips:


1). Make sure to be active and excercise!
When I feel that summer is just around the corner, I have no more exceuses to be lazy, and I force myself to excercise (4 times a week) on my home stepper!
I usually do my workout routine in the mornings, before taking the shower.
I'll start with a 20- 30 minutes, and then, one day after another, I'll slowly work my way up to even 50 minutes of excercise on my stepper.
What keeps me motivated?
Picturing myself in the bikini on the beach is good enough of a motivation for me!
I want to be ready & pass that bikini test!!! 
What entertains me while I'm doing my excercising?
I'll watch one of my favourite TV shows on the internet, or a beauty/fashion video on Youtube!
There are also tons of inspirational excercising videos on Youtube, so I find those inspiring as well!
While watching those, time flies by in a sec., and without even realizing it, I'm done with my excercises for the day!

2.)Eat healthy!
Avoid junk food, snacks, greasy, fried food!
In my kitchen, there are always plenty of fruits and veggies!
I do eat meat as well, but my diet is mainly based on fruits and vegetables!

Apples, oranges, bananas!
I also love seasonal fruits, and now I enjoy eating strawberries daily (my favourite fruit!!!) as they're just perfect in this period of a year!

I eat both raw and cooked vegetables daily!
I'll try to share with you some of my favourite dishes/ receipes in my future videos/ posts ;)

3.) Water is the source of beauty and gives us life!
Always make sure to keep your body well hydrated!
I stay away from coffee, alcool, sparkling sodas such as Coca- Cola, Fanta, Sprite etc. (haven't drunk those in ages!!), and artifical juices...
Basically I only like to drink water, or freshly squeezed juice from oranges, or some other delicious fruit!


Water gives us beauty and life!

4.) Food supplements
Throughout the year, I'll take different vitamins and food supplements, depending on what my body needs in a certain period.


Here are my favourite food supplements that I love & recommend:


Currently I'm using Phyto Paris food supplements for healthy hair & nails.
I used them already one year ago, and the results were amazing!
I went on my vacations for two weeks, and when I returned back at work, my colleagues were actually asking me have I put in a hair extensions!

5.) Self tanners and a good body care cosmetics!


To prepare my body for the beach and bikini, I like to apply a self tanning products.
I'm very pale and I do think we all look a bit better with at least a bit of a tan!
I prefer a natural tan, but as I always tan slowly and gradually, I do turn to self tanners for a "quick fix" :)
I avoid tanning beds as they cause premature aging of the skin, and can also cause more serious skin conditions.
Plus, the hygiene in the tanning beds is often questionable!


I was using tanning beds in the past, so I'm telling you all this from my personal experience.


On the other hand, I always had super positive experience with self tanners.
Just make sure to do a full scrub to your body first, so the self tanner will absorb more evenly into the skin and will give the best results.


My scrubs & self tanners of choice, this season are:


Balea Cream Body Scrub with Indian Chai (smells delicious!)
Bourjois face scrub (radiance boosting)
L'oreal Sublime Bronze Automatic Self tanner for the body, in spray
Yves Rocher Bronze Nature self tanner for the face (my fave!)

In this period of time, I usually start using some kind of anti- cellulite cream (body firming etc.)
This year, my choice was this luxurious Ultra Sonic cream by Kiko Make Up Milano.

As I'm applying it on a daily basis, I thought a quick review is in order :)
