A Murder of One

ENG: I dare to say this is probably one of my favourite outfits since I started my blogger career (and that was quite some time ago!). I love it because it's so unique and creative. Different. Definitely not everyone's cup of tea, but I felt like a million dollars wearing it! And, when it comes to fashion & finding your personal style, this is all that matters...feeling great in the clothes you're wearing.
My hubby didn't understand this outfit.
I personally imagined this song playing in the background of our photo session:

It's funny how this song can always touch my heart and remind me to live my life to the fullest, to stop wasting my time over regretting things from the past...nothing can change the past, we can only work hard every single day, trying not to make the same mistakes from the past, for a better future!

This song motivates me to be creative, to be unique, to be myself.

My Dad's old, oversized sweater, a 1€ second-hand Woolrich shirt...my Benetton midi skirt (5€ from Benetton's Outlet)...mixing prints and textures...and this is the outcome! I hope you like it! And the perfect background to tell my fashion story.

I'm a fighter. My life wasn't easy. I'm a survivor. No matter what I wear on the outside, cheap or expensive, it's my mind and my soul that matters, and those are priceless.

HR: Nesto drugacije. Ovaj outfit jedan je od meni najdrazih od kada sam zapocela moju blogger "karijeru" (a ima tome vec dugo!)...

Volim ovaj outfit zbog toga sto je originalan, kreativan. Drugaciji. Volim ga zbog toga sto se nece svima svidjeti i nece ga svi shvatiti. Volim ga zbog toga sto sam se u njemu osjecala kao da nosim outfit vrijedan milijun dolara! I to je ono sto je zaista bitno kada govorimo o modnom izricaju i osobnom stilu: Osjecati se odlicno u odjeci koju nosite na sebi!

Moj muzic nije razumio ovaj outfit.

Dok smo ga fotografirali, u mojoj glavi vrtila sam ovu divnu pjesmu mojeg omiljenog banda Counting Crows: "A Murder of One".

Nevjerojatno je na koji nacin ova pjesma moze dotaci moje srce i potaknuti me da zivim zivot punim plucima, da prestanem trositi vrijeme i energiju razmisljajuci o proslosti i stvarima koje bih napravila drugacije...nista ne moze promijeniti proslost. Ostaje nam samo da radimo svaki dan na boljoj buducnosti, nadajuci se da smo neke lekcije naucili i da ce nam posluziti u daljnjem zivotu i donosenju odluka!

Ova pjesma motivira me da ne tratim svoj zivot, da budem kreativna, da budem jedinstvena, da budem svoja.

Tatin stari, meni malo preveliki dzemper, Woolrich kosulja iz second-hand ducana koja me kostala cak 1€...Benettonova midi suknja (ulov iz outleta, 5€)...mix printova i tekstura...malo kaoticno, ali opet, sve zajedno savrseno funkcionira i prica jednu modnu pricu!

Pozadina se savrseno uklopila u pricu koju sam zeljela ispricati...I ovo je ishod:

Ja sam borac. Moj zivot nije bio lak. Prezivjela sam puno drama i brodoloma. Ono sto nosim izvana, skupo, ili jeftino, nije bitno. Bitno je ono sto nosim iznutra, moj um i moja dusa, a oni su neprocjenjvi.

Styling Ideas: Four Fashion Outfits for the Early Fall Season!

Hello beauties!

How was your weekend?

I hope everyone relaxed & enjoyed these still warm & sunny days of the early Fall (at least here in Italy, the weather has been treating us well these days!)

Yesterday I uploaded a new fashion video; I put together four different outfits that I believe are just perfect for the early Fall season.

I hope my video gives you a bit of an inspiration on how you can dress for this transitional period of time; I know I'm always a bit puzzled when Summer transitions into Fall, and I need a new ideas on what to wear! ;)

OUTFIT #1

This look is very Fall-ish!

I love the dress!

This dress was a gift from my Mum, she bought it somewhere in Croatia.

Leggings are from Pitarello fashion store, bought this summer, on sale.

 I figured this colour would work well in my wardrobe, and I still didn't have a pair of leggings in this colour, so it was a great buy, as on sale they were reduced to only 3.50 € !

Bag is by Max & Co.

Brown, braided belt is taken from a long shirt that I bought at Stradivarius store.

My leather boots are Jany Gold (made in Italy).

My green chandelier earrings are from one jewellery store in Croatia.

Cuff bracelets: Skandal fashion store (Croatia) and H&M (men's dept.)

Coconut watch is a souvenier from Sardinia, other bracelets are from H&M.

OUTFIT #2

Another outfit that I enjoy wearing in these early Fall days!

I love the casual, yet chic feel that it has :)

My dress is from Pimkie store (the belt came together with the dress).

Camel color cardigan with sparkly rhinestones is from H&M.

Bag is by Bershka (white cat pendant is from Funky Fish, bought in Croatia).

Socks are from H&M.

Boots are bought here in Italy.

Cuff bracelets are from Skandal and H&M.

Gold layered chain bracelet is my handmade piece CLICK HERE for my handmade jewellery!

Coconut watch is from Sardinia, a souvenier from my summer vacations, wrap bracelet is from H&M.

OUTFIT #3

I love high waisted skirts!

They're still a big MUST- HAVE in my wardrobe!

My white top is from H&M, so is the skirt!

The wide blue belt is from Jennifer fashion store.

The necklace was a great find, at the italian open market, it cost me only 1 €!

Ring is from H&M (people always admire this ring and compliment me on it!)

OUTFIT #4

Do you remember me mentioning in my TOP Fall 2011. Fashion Trends how cheetah print/leopard print is going to be one of major trends for this Fall season?

So I picked out this high waisted leopard print skirt!

The skirt is from Pull & Bear.

Leggings are from Mango, black tube top is from H&M.

Faux leather vest is from Jennifer.

My black ballet flats with sequins are bought here in Italy, and are by a brand Flyfor.

Sunnies are from Stradivarius.

My elastic black belt with an interesting buckle detail is thrifted from my local thrift store here in Italy.

Black cuff bracelet is from H&M (men's dept.) and other bracelets are from Accessorize store and from my local 1€uro store!

Watch is from Avon jewellery.

A pop of red colour! My bag is from H&M, earrings are handmade by my friend Liley who kindly gave these to me as a present :)

Fashion Trends: CORAL MANIA & How to Style a High Waisted Shorts

Hello girls!

Yes, I'm still very much in love with the coral colour!

Here is my outfit of the other day, when my hubby & I went to visit our friends and we all had delicious pizzas together for dinner!

I've missed a good italian pizza while I was on my vacations in Croatia!

Before moving to Italy, I used to think we make a good pizza in Croatia, but now I have to admit: I was wrong!

My hubby has got a friend whose father owns a pizza place: After tasting his pizza, I realized I never want to eat pizza anywhere else but in his restaurant!

It's just beyond delicious!!!

Moving on to my outfit...

I wear them often just because I like them so much, I want to enjoy wearing them as long as I still can!

B-day Girl Outfit (Sarah Jessica Parker Inspired)

Hello dear girls!


Yesterday was my birthday!
I spent it here in Italy with my hubby & my close friend from Costa Rica, Liley :)


In the evening hours, my hubby & I went to eat out in one famous place in the centre of the town, 
"La Creperia", where they make the most yummy crepes of any flavour!
We had the salted crepes (mine was with courgettes, fontina, brie, fresh tomatoes and mushrooms) and for the dessert we split in half the crepe with ice-cream, chocolate and nuts.
It was more than delicious! :)
My hubby knows this place pretty well, but to me it was actually the first time I went there, I didn't even know it existed!


I'm really happy with how I spent my B-day and all your messages and lovely comments just contributed to make my day even better!
