Essence I Love Extreme Mascara Review & Demo

Hi beauties!

In this blog post, I'd like to share with you one of my recent beauty finds!
I'm talking about my new favourite mascara, Essence I Love Extreme (old version), and I'm truly in ♥ because this mascara really gives me extreme lashes, and it's very affordable price wise!

I did a whole video review & demo on how I apply it, so you can see better the effect that it has on my lashes :)

Take a look at my review & demo here:

Why do I like this mascara so much?

- It's a drugstore brand, easily available & very affordable!
- It's great quality mascara, it really gives you bigger lashes!
- It won't clump or smudge, no spidery effect, you can easily
build it up and apply even more coats for more dramatic look!
- Even the packaging is quite cute & appealing
- It elongates my lashes, separates them and gives them volume, what more could I ask for?

I got my essence mascara at Oviesse store in Italy.
In Italy, you can also find essence products at Coin dept.stores.
In Croatia it's available in most drugstores, and when I'm there, I usually buy essence at DM, Bipa, Kozmo...

The brush of this mascara is soo big (but not too big...some mascaras tend to have ridiculously big brush, and you just can't work with it!)
The bristles are the "old fashioned ones", but I actually like it better that way!

Negative points:

None that I can think of!
It's a really, really good mascara and it can even stand side by side to many high-end, expensive mascaras!

I really hope you'll try out this mascara & share your opinions with me!

Please let me know, which country do you live in and where do you buy essence products?

Your answers will be of a lot of help to all my readers interested in essence make up & skincare products!

Thanks for stopping by!

Love from Italy,

xoxo, S.

FOTD & Make Up Tutorial: Natural Springtime MakeUp for Everyday!

Hello beauties!

In my video archive, I found these two older vids and I thought I'll upload them again for you guys, as the look is so pretty, natural & easy to acheive.
Just perfect for Springtime as it makes your face really radiant and healthy looking!

I just quickly re-edited them, to make them a more up-to-date version, and I think the result is pretty enjoyable: In just a couple of minutes, I'm giving you all the necessary input on how to get this look, and effortlessly look great by enhancing your best features :)

FOTD: Natural Springtime Make Up for Everyday

I used very light colours of eyeshadows, that can be normally used as a highlighters (brands: Sephora, essence, Pupa), and then a dark grey eyeshadow (Inglot) just along my upper & lower lash line, applied as an eyeliner, with an angled eyeshadow brush (ecotools).

For the detailed list of all the products used, check out my Make Up tutorial, here:

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial and that you'll try out this look!

How do you do your daily make up in Springtime? :)

TAG: Repurchased Products

Hello girlies!

I'm running behind with my blog posts, and the reason behind this is: I'm sick!
I caught this nasty flu virus, had a pretty bad muscle pain and high fever, so for a few days I couldn't even open my computer...I simply didn't have the strength to do anything!
My blood pressure was so low, that I passed out three times!
I couldn't even eat, I just had to make sure to stay hydrated, to avoid going to the hospital!

Now things are slowly getting back to normal, I'm still very weak, but I feel I'm on my way to a recovery!

All this happened exactly now, when I'm on my vacations from work!
The perfect timing, I feel like I won the jackpot (finally, my well deserved days off work, and the very first thing I do: I fall to bed, sick! Ughhh) We're off to a bad start here...

The weather has also been very disappointing, rainy, cloudy & chilly, more autumn than spring time appropriate, and i just don't know what else to add on that subject!

So the best thing is to just start with my today's post topic, which is:

"My Repurchased Beauty Products"

I saw this fun TAG video on youtube and decided to film it myself, as there are quite a few products that I keep repurchasing throughout the years, that I stay loyal too!
There are even more products that I repurchase than the ones that I showed you in my video, but when I was filming my video, I only showed you what I had in my collection (which means, the products I haven't shown you are waiting on their turn to be repurchased!)

I uploaded my beauty video on my MissFashionKitty channel, as a little experiment, because in the future I'd like to concentrate more on this channel and start uploading all my beauty & fashion videos there!
My "main" channel, eipysgudps, has got such a stupid, not easy to remember, not easy to pronounce, username, that unfortunately can't be changed...
I've been thinking for a long while now, that it's time for me to concentrate on my MissFashionKitty channel and move there from now on...

I'll keep you informed about any changes that I make!
Rest assure, I won't be closing down my eipysgudps channel, or deleting the videos that I have uploaded there over the past couple of years that I'm doing youtube...I have over 300 videos there now, so to move them all, or delete them all..would be simply insane!

But I'm up for a fresh new start!!! ;)

How can you help me?

If you'd like to, you can go to my MissFashionKitty channel, and show your support by subscribing to it (if you haven't yet!)
This would mean so much to me and I would really appreciate it!

Anyway, back to my today's beauty topic, you can check out my Repurchased Products TAG video here:

Some of the products that I keep repurchasing are from these brands:

- Kiko Make Up Milano
- Collistar
- Nivea
- Lierac
- Lush
- Yves Rocher
- L'Oreal
- Klorane
- Kerastase
- Bioderma
- Phyto
- Ardes
- I Provenzali
- Afrodita
- Schwarzkopf
- Alverde
- essence

Have you ever tried any of these products?
If so, is there any of these products on your "Repurchased List" too?

I hope you enjoyed this post!

If you have any suggestions for me, on the topics I touched in this post, please feel free to leave me a comment!
I love to hear from you and every single comment is very much valued, appreciated, and always taken under consideration!

xoxo Sonja

About my hair: In this video, I'm also giving you a short "hair update", talking about my big dark roots showing, because I haven't been at the hairdresser's for 2 months...joking that now I have the "ombre" hair trend going on...
Well, NEW UPDATE: I filmed this video past week, before I went to have my highlights & cut done at the hairdresser's salon! I'm satisfied with the result and can be calm for other two months or so...but still, I wish my hair would just grow naturally blonde, lol ;)

The pics down bellow were taken just after my visit to the hairdresser's, in the same afternoon:

Well, girls, I hope you enjoyed this little beauty chit-chat!
Let me know do you like my make up tutorial!

& please answer the new poll I have going on, on my blog :)
You'll find the questions at the top right side of my blog!
I'm going to London soon & I'd like to know what would you like to see on my blog/youtube, related to my trip :)
If you have any good  UK cosmetic brand recommendations, don't hesitate to leave me a comment!
