My travel diary: Sporty Chic in Novi Vinodolski, Croatia ♥

ENG: These photos were taken in Croatia. We went on a quick trip to Novi Vinodolski town that is situated on the coast of the Adriatic Sea. That day, the cold wind Bura was blowing so hard, that we couldn't take outfit photos by thea sea (as I originally intended to), but we had to seek for a cover in between the narrow streets of the town's centre.
You don't mess around with Bura!
For this trip, I wore something sporty (my old Adidas were a star of this outfit), but I always like to give a little chic touch to my sporty/casual outfits, with cool accessories :-)


HR: Ovaj outfit snimili smo u Hrvatskoj, u Novom Vinodolskom. Bio je to jedan brzinski izlet, a buduci da je jako puhala bura, nismo se mogli niti pribliziti morskoj obali!
Ja sam mislila kako ce biti lijepo uslikati par fotki na obali Novog, ali na kraju smo zaklon morali potraziti izmedju starinskih kamenih kuca i uskih ulicica centra grada.
Sa burom nema sale!
Ja sam nosila sportsku odjevnu kombinaciju, a zvijezde outfita bile su moje stare Adidas tenisice koje sam pronasla u ormaru u Hrvatskoj! I najsportskijim outfitima volim dati sik naglasak cool asesoarom :-)

Business Casual, Fall OOTD

Evo sto cini moj danasnji outfit:

Sivi blazer sam kupila na snizenjima u Bershki, kao i ovu malu clutch-torbicu :)

Jakna, koja je ipak neophodna u ovo hladnije doba godine, je Diesel, i nasla sam ju "second hand", tako da je bila odlicne cijene, oko 15-tak eurica ;)

Ove pola "kozne", pola pamucne tajice su iz Stradivariusa, a na njih sam iskombinirala ovu lijepu bluzu iz H&M-a (koju sam ugrabila na nekoj ludoj ponudi, cijena joj je bila 3€!).

Buduci da uz tajice uvijek volim kombinirati duze majice, bojala sam se da mi bluza dovoljno ne prekriva guzu (haha), pa sam ispod bluze obukla duzu pamucnu kanotjericu iz H&M-a, tamno sive boje, koja se lijepo uklopila uz print na bluzi :)

Cizme sam kupila na trznici u Italiji (obozavam njihove "i mercati", svega se nadje, a vrlo povoljno!).

Sto se asesoara tice, outfit sam "zacinila" ogrlicom koju sam kupila u "Douglas" parfumeriji, a prsten (koji savrseno pase uz ogrlicu!) je iz H&M-a.

Nadam se da vam se svidio moj danasnji outfit!

Tako obucena isla sam na posao :)

Goodbye Summer OOTD & Vlog (from Bibione Beach, Italy!)

Hi lovelies!

Summer 2013. is behind us, we're heading towards colder months...

I'm a true lover of the warm weather, sunshine, and summer is definitely my favourite time of the year!

If I could live somewhere where it's always summer weather, I would never get bored of it and I would never wish for winter and colder days, I promise!

Everytime I have to say "Goodbye" to Summer, it breaks my heart a little bit...

This year, I had an amazing summer so it was even more difficult to let it go! (there's not much one can do about it, though...)

In honour of the Summer and as a thank you to all the joy it gave me, just by being "Summer", I made this "artsy" (...kind of)OOTD video...

Corduroy Fall & Winter Fashion Trend: How to Wear!

Hello girls!

Today's blog post & my new fashion video are about the CORDUROY fashion trend for Fall (Autumn) & Winter 2011./12.

What is corduroy?

Corduroy is a textile composed of twisted fibers that, when woven, lie parallel (similar to twill) to one another to form the cloth's distinct pattern, a "cord." Modern corduroy is most commonly composed of tufted cords, sometimes exhibiting a channel (bare to the base fabric) between the tufts. Corduroy is, in essence, a ridged form of velvet.

I already had in my wardrobe, several different clothing items made out of the corduroy, so I was very pleased when I realized it's back in trend!

I can wear my old clothes and be in the latest trend, without having to spend money buying new clothes!

I will probably just "refresh" the clothes by accessorizing them with my new accessories that I bought this season :)

I also have some corduroy material clothes back home in my old wardrobe in Croatia, so on my next trip home I'll have to remember to bring some of those clothes back to Italy with me :)

I do miss now my corduroy trench coat and cute corduroy hats!

I feel I just NEED to have them right now in my wardrobe in Italy, lol!

But still, here I do have my "vintage looking", military green pants from River Island, grey blazer type jacket by Diesel and my three quarter length brown pants from Vero Moda :)

These are definitely among my favourite fashion stores and the quality of the clothes confirms that!

I've had those pieces in my wardrobe for six years or more and they're still in the perfect condition and I can wear them now as if they were brand new! :)
