Follow me around the island of Krk in Croatia! ♥

Hi everyone!

Today's blog post is going to be about my trip to the island of Krk in Croatia!

The island of Krk is situated actually quite close to my hometown, Rijeka, so every summer, when I'm home in Croatia, I try to skip to the island of Krk, at least for one day!

The island is connected to the mainland by the bridge, so it's actually quite easy and hassle free to go on & off the island!

(Except for the days when the strong & cold wind Bura is blowing, then they actually need to close down the bridge, otherwise the Bura might just blow you off it! lol)

Luckily, this wasn't the case when we went to the island, so we spent the perfect day, laying at the beach & walking around the old town's centre...We had fun and I thought I'd film a vlog for you guys :)

For my trip to the island of Krk, I was wearing this cute, flowy dress by Bershka that I got past summer, at the end of summer sales.

What I love about this dress is that it has this golden necklace incorporated as a part of the dress, so in the evening, when it got chillier, I put on my white knitted sweater by H&M, and pulled out the necklace- part of the dress that now seemed like a separate piece!

My straw material hat is from Jennifer, ballet flats are H&M, sunglasses are my recent purchase from Zara and a backpack was a gift from my friend!

Bracelet is from H&M, as the bikini (stripy, nautical♥), that I was wearing that day!

Nadam se da ste mi dobro :)

Danasnji blog post vezan je uz novi vlog kojeg sam pripremila na svom engleskom youtube kanalu, a mozete ga pogledati klikom ovdje!

Dok sam bila doma u Hrvatskoj, iskoristili smo ljeto i suncano vrijeme i zaletili se na otok Krk!

Buduci da se Krk nalazi vrlo blizu Rijeke, a dobro je povezan sa kopnom mostom, omiljeno nam je izletiste svake godine!

Za dnevnu kombinaciju odlucila sam se na ljetnu haljinicu iz Bershke (od proslog ljeta) i balerinke iz H&M-a...nove su bile naocale koje sam netom ugrabila na snizenjima u Zari, i bikini na mornarske prugice iz H&M-a.

Za ruksak ste mi komentirali vec da vam se svidja, e pa to je bio poklon od moje drage kolegice s posla (inace je iz Kostarike!...ne ruksak, vec kolegica...hihi)

Navecer smo se pored Omislja i Kraljevice zaustavili kako bi fotografirali prekrasne boje zalaska sunca, a kako je vani vec bilo malo friskije, dodala sam bijeli, lagani ljetni dzemper (H&M), koji se dobro uklopio u cijelokupnu kombinaciju!

Ja osobno jako volim zalazak sunca, ima nesto magicno u njemu sto me smiruje i ispunjava...Ljeti su zalasci sunca posebno magicni, zbog prekrasnih boja, a pogotovo ukoliko ga gledate sa morske obale...

Razgovarala sam sa jednom kolegicom s posla o zalasku sunca i ona mi je rekla da ih ne voli jer ju zalazak sunca i smiraj dana cini tuznom, tako da ih izbjegava i vise uziva u izlasku sunca i radanju novog dana...

Ja naravno volim i izlazak sunca (ako sam tada budna da to vidim, haha), ali zalazak sunca me toliko ocara i inspirira da je to neopisivo.

Vlogmas in Italy: Christmas Dinner Party With Colleagues from Work!

Hello lovelies!

I vlogged again a little bit, I hope you'll enjoy watching :)

I showed a little bits & pieces from a past few days in my life...I haven't been up to anything special, except for the Christmas dinner party with colleagues from work, that I had this past Tuesday.

I vlogged about my grocery shopping endeavours in the crowded supermarket, about filming & editing my new make up tutorial, about snacking on something really delish...

Freshly squeezed orange juice and as a dessert, yummy "Fruit basket", "Cestino di frutta" cookie :)

It doesn't get any better than this: Red berries "Fruit Basket", my favourite dessert!

Tuesday, as I've mentioned, I had my work/company Christmas dinner party.  

The whole day of Tuesday it was really foggy outside, the fog was starting to get so dense that I almost cancelled the dinner and stayed at home (I'm always terrified to drive in the fog! In my hometown, we don't even know what the fog is, so even though I have been living in Italy for the past five years, I still haven't gotten used to the fog!)

I've decided to try to conquer my fear, and went to the dinner after all (this gathering happens only once a year, and it's usually always very glam and fun, I was kind of sad thinking that I might miss it this year!)

I drove in the fog like a 80-year old, no kidding, I was "glued" to the windshield, it was ridiculous! Plus, I probably drove not more than 50km/h as the fog was so dense, I couldn't even see the road, or where I was going (sooo terrifying!).

I managed to arrive safely at our meeting point, and I'm telling you, it was totally worth it, as the dinner party was a success, we all had so much fun! :)

We all took a whole bunch of photos, and I'll post some of them here, just so I can transfer to you a bit of the pre-Christmas atmosphere we all experienced that night:

As far as my outfit goes, I've decided to wear my military style shirt from Pull & Bear, paired with sequin shorts from Stradivarius and an elastic waist belt with interesting gold buckle, from H&M.

I teamed that up with a pair of black suede like (calf- high) booties with high heels, and the styling was complete! :)

As accessories, I wore a necklace from Promod, and a sparkly leaf connector ring that I got in London at Claire's accessories.
