Hello beauties!
As I've mentioned in my previous post, my summer vacations are already over and I can't help but wonder how the time flew by so fast?!!
Anyway, I'm back to my everyday routine now, but I wanted to write about what I packed in my suitcase (I have to mention, I had a limited space, now that I had my little boy's things to pack as well).
I only wanted to bring my most loved items that I knew I'll use frequently and that will really serve its purpose. I do have some beauty items in my home in Croatia, so I didn't need to carry EVERYTHING, but here are some items that definitely needed to find their place in my suitcase!
VICTORIA'S SECRET BODY MIST
I always replace my usual perfume with these body mists because they're ideal for summertime! I spray them even before going to the beach. My fave scents are "Amber Romance" (amber and creme anglaise), a very refreshing formula infused with conditioning Aloe Vera and calming Chamomile. I also love "Love Spell" which smells of cherry blossom & peach.
Bioderma Hydrabio H2O Micellar Cleansing Water and Makeup Remover Solution for Dehydrated or Sensitive Skin
I really like this Hydrabio hydrating version for dry skin. It's very effective even on eye makeup. I like to carry this travel size version as it's more compact and 100ml are just about enough for my entire holiday (considering that I don't even wear that much makeup, especially on holiday!)
DIORSKIN Shimmer Powder in 002 Amber Diamond, one of my fave highlighter of all times!
I adore the fact that it's so multifuncional, I can even use it as eyeshadows! I think I don't even need to bring my eyeshadow palette since I'm packing this little gem.
Tired mom problems anyone?
Yes, that would be me! I'm experiencing a serious lack of sleep (it is getting a bit better now, as my little one grows, he does sleep better during the night) and these two products by SHISEIDO are miracle workers!!!
From Shiseido Benefiance I'd like to point out to Wrinkle Resist 24 Pure Retinol Express Smoothing Eye Mask. Seriously expensive, but also effective! As they have such a high price point, I'm trying to use them only when my under eye area looks really tired.
Also great, and more affordable product, is from Shiseido Ibuki line, this Quick Fix Mist that you can apply at any point during the day to freshen up your skin and give it a boost of hydration.
Both products are ideal for dry and thirsty skin!
Last but not least, is this ultra hydrating and replumping lip balm by BIOTHERM. I discovered it a couple of months ago and I don't want to be without it ever again! It's quickly become one of my most used and most loved beauty products. I have finally found a replacement for an old fave of mine that was discontinued, and it was by Vichy. I think this might just be it! I'm pretty sure the formula is very similar, if not the same.
Let me know what were yours beauty favorites this summer?
