New In: Affordable, Pigmented Makeup from Born Pretty Store

Hello lovelies!

Today's post is a #NewIn haul. I ordered a few bits from bornprettystore, the brand I've been collaborating with since I started my youtube & blogger journey! They've always been appealing to me, because of the good quality items at very affordable prices! I'm sure there's actually no need for me to praise them, since most of you already know about them and to prove that most things they offer go out of stock super quickly!

This time I ordered 4 makeup items for a total of $10 budget! As I'm more conscious about my beauty purchases, I only go for the items I need and know that I would get to use on a day to day basis.

Anyway, here's what I purchased:

8 Colors Shimmer Eyeshadow Makeup Palette Long Lasting Eyeshadow 9 Pattens #24110 available here for $ 2.59.

It's a very cute eyeshadow palette, ideal for traveling or when you're on the go. The eyeshadows are very pigmented, mostly shimmery and they do have some fall out but if you go light handed and you're careful enough, they're easy to apply!

This palette comes in different color options so you can choose the one that best suits you!

To make the eyeshadows more long lasting, I picked the BONNIE CHOICE 6ml Eye Shadow Primer Make Up Base Natural Professional Long-lasting Cosmetic Cream #42350 available here for $ 2.99.

This is also a makeup primer that's supposed to smooth out the fine lines and wrinkles and you can use it on your eyelids and or the rest of the face.

I'm very happy with the quality of Bonnie Choice products and I've mentioned this in one of my previous post, their super pigmented and long lasting lipsticks, that are simply a must have for anyone who loves a good matte liquid lipstick that also has a great staying power!

Next in my shopping cart, I added a 1Pc Glow Shimmer Liquid Highlighter Moisture Shine Makeup Face Eye Contour Brightener Concealer #40172 available here for $ 2.59.

This is such an amazing highlighter!

You can use it under your eyes to brighten up that area or you can apply it as a highlighter on your cheekbones, cupid's bow or wherever you usually like to add a bit of a highlighter.

Extremely pigmented and just beautiful, moonlight/rose color!

Hurry up, these are selling like crazy!

Last, but not least, Mascara Blue Purple Brown Gradient Colorful Curling Eyelash Cosmetic 5 Colors Selectable #161 available here for $ 2.49.

The black one was sold out, so I went for the brown (I haven't used a brown mascara since high school days!). I like the fact that it really curls and lengthens your eyelashes, but I'm not a big fan of waterproof mascaras. However, it was handy to have it this summer and with a good oil based make up remover, it wasn't such a hassle removing it from my eyes in the evening (I recommend Caudalie, Burt's Bees, or Balea from Drogerie Markt if you're on a budget, oil based makeup removers!)

New In: Dresslily ♥

Hi guys!

In this post I'm going to show you a few fashion & beauty bits that I picked recently from dresslily.

I'm sorry for the lack of posts lately, but as you probably already know, on 20th of January I gave birth to a wonderful little boy! As a new Mum, I'm still trying to establish a certain routine, as newborns require so much time and attention. Plus I'm truly enjoying spending time with my son and just being there for him :-) These first months may be the hardest, but are also so incredibly precious!
Anyway, nowdays it usually takes me 3 days to get one post up: One day is for taking photos, another is for editing them and then finally the next day I can put the post live! I usually do it when my baby boy takes a nap or when he's looked after by his Dad.

Ok, I'll try to post more, but until then make sure to follow my instagram, as it's much easier for me to update it daily with some bits of my daily life as a new Mum!


Back to my mini haul, these are a few things I picked up...

I really love this bowknot sweater! I saw a very similar one at Mango, but at dresslily I found it for less than a half price (€ 20,34)

Here is how I wore it the past Sunday when we went ut with my hubby & our son, for a short walk..

I just took a few quick photos as our baby started crying and we didn't have time to do a proper OOTD post! Next time maybe we'll be of a better luck! 

Also, I picked some accessories and make up tools!

This double horn choker necklace is super in at the moment, and for only 2,77 € I think it's a must!

I decided to order this toothbrush shape (Artis inspired) make up brush set, that also contains a pink beauty blender and make up brush cleaner (that pink rubbery thing you can see on the photo!).

As eager as I am to test out these brushes, I haven't had a chance to try them out yet, as I rarely have time or an occasion to put a make up on these days...but I'm sure that soon enough I'll get to play with these brushes :-)

ENG: I want to get more creative with my make up looks! And we all know that, having the right tools is half the work done :-) So I decided to treat myself with a brand new set of make up brushes!
I went to Light in the Box web store (yes, they do sell beauty products too, didn't you know that?), and picked my set here.
This particular set has 11 make up brushes, you'll get 5 face brushes + 5 eye make up brushes that are very similar to the famous Sigma "Sigmax" brushes. The eleventh brush in this set is one of those funny looking brushes, all the world has gone crazy about! I have to admit, it has got a very innovative design and I'm looing forward to trying it out!
Other brushes from this set I already tried out and have to say they're amazing quality and they do deliver fabulous, impeccable results! For the price of € 9.30, they're true bargains!

Kiko Make Up & Skincare Haul

Hello lovelies!

Today I'm bringing you one exciting beauty/make up haul!
I'm sure by now you've all heard about Kiko Make Up Milano, as this brand is growing its popularity super fast!

I discovered it years and years ago, when their little store opened at my local shopping mall...their products were very inviting and the prices were so affordable...it was a little make up heaven!

By now, in my collection I have numerous products by Kiko.
I have mostly make up products, but lately I've been into their skincare too, and I have to say I'm pretty impressed!

Kiko often does sales and in-store promotions, and it's just very tempting and hard to resist not getting a thing or two! ;)

In this video/ post, I'm showing you what's new in my Kiko make up collection, but also what did I pick up from their skincare range...

The only negative thing that I can think of when talking about Kiko, is their service (sales assistants) being way too pushy!
They'll push so hard in trying to convince you to buy other products that you don't need, that it can get a bit embarassing!

Some of my girlfriends have even started avoiding their shop for that reason, even though they love Kiko products!
I know it's a common practice for the sales assistants to try and do some additional sales, but one also has to know when enough is enough and listen to what the customer is saying!


Here are the goodies I picked up (I think it's actually a lot!), but I still found myself having to politely turn down the sales assistant's offer by the cash desk (for the fifth time ughh!)...

I love the quality of Kiko brushes, so I got this "Digital Emotion" brush kit (it was on sale for 30% off, so I had a pretty good deal on it!)

There are 6 brushes in the kit (3 eye makeup brushes & 3 face brushes)

My first ever Kiko foundation!
As the warmer days are arriving, I decided to go for a lasting, mat formula with a spf.

Kiko colour correction powder is awesome for every skin tone, I'm very happy with this purchase!

I was really excited about getting this Kiko hair shadow!
It was sold out for the longest time, and I was so pleased when they finally brought it back in the store! 

this is the effect I like to achieve on my hair using the kiko hair shadow.
you can go for more intense effect, or more subtle one, and it's really just like using the eyeshadow!
it washes off immediately, and I do advise you to fixate it with a hair spray for a longer lasting effect.

Drage curke, danas vam donosim jedan zanimljivi "beauty/make up haul"! Radi se o sve poznatijem Kiko Make Up Milano brandu, kojem je zaista tesko odoljeti :)

Ja sam sa Kiko kozmetikom prvi puta dosla u kontakt prije puno godina, kada su otvorili svoj ducancic u mom obliznjem trgovackom centru.
Cijene su bile pristupacne, a proizvodi primamljivi i cinio se pravi mali raj za svaku zaljubljenicu u make up! ;)

Danas moja Kiko makeup kolekcija broji puno proizvoda, a nedavno sam se odlucila i na isprobavanje proizvoda iz njihove preparative (cijom sam kvalitetom odusevljena!).

Jedina negativna stvar koju bih mogla pripisati Kiko brandu, jesu njihove prenametljive prodavacice! Jasno mi je da nas zele dodatno animirati na vecu kupnju, ali ponekad treba znati kada stati i poslusati klijenta! Iako sam kupila zaista puno stvarcica, prodavacice su me uporno zeljele nagovoriti na jos vecu kupnju i situacija je postajala prilicno neugodna!
Nakon sto sam peti put ljubazno odbila ponudjeni proizvod, jedva sam cekala napustiti ducan :(
Ista situacija desava se i mojim prijateljicama, koje u zadnje vrijeme izbjegavaju odlazak u Kiko ducan, iako vole sam brand, ali ne zele se izlagati upornom nagovaranju prodavacica na proizvode koje im ne trebaju...


Nadam se da ce Kiko brand u buducnosti poraditi na tome i pronaci neku idealnu ravnotezu izmedju "additional sales" i "customer satisfaction"! :)
