Joico Color Endure Violet Shampoo 2 Week Trial! Will This "Save" My Hair?

For today's post I'd like to say a few words about Joico violet shampoo that I ordered a few months ago at FeelUnique.

I decided to purchase it because it got many positive reviews and I was recommended to try it out as it was supposed to be one of the best violet shampoos for toning hair currently on the market.

Before Joico, I was using Bapp violet shampoo,  just one of those unknown brand that I got at my local drugstore and it's made here in Italy.

I really thought there couldn't be much difference from one purple shampoo to another but some reviews suggested there are brands of purple shampoos that work better than the others, so that motivated me to test out another one and see the results.

I used it very frequently (3-4 times a week, every other day) in that period when my roots looked very brassy and more yellow than blonde.

I saw many youtube reviews that showed DIY miracles, in terms that after just one use, the hair went from brassy to platinum blonde. That was a tad bit unrealistic! How can I expect a purple shampoo to lighten and tone my hair as a pro?

With DIY blonde it is so hard to get to that perfect tone, without brassy or corn yellow tones.

If your hair is naturally on the dark side and you aren't a professional hairdresser, the task can be quite challenging and you can easily end up with horrible hair color and even worse, seriously damaged hair!

I did a little "purple shampoo trial" and I used it frequently over a couple of weeks and documented the results here in this video:

It certainly didn't transform my hair in only one go, but over the time, it definitely helped in toning it and making it look better and less brassy.

Now I use this shampoo once a week to maintain my hair color and keep it nice and shiny. I love how thick the formula of this shampoo is, a little goes a long way, it lathers up easily into a rich foam and it feels quite nourishing. It's very concentrated, a little goes a long way so it'll last me for months!

Overall, I'm satisfied. It won't work overnight miracles, but it's nice product that in the long run will have positive effects!

COCONUT OIL PULLING FOR WHITE TEETH & HEALTHY GUMS (NUTRIENT WISE)

Hello beauties! Have you ever heard of coconut oil pulling? I just recently found out about it, even though, it's apparently an ancient tradition that has been used for centuries to whiten teeth and clean the bacteria and toxins from mouth, promoting healthy teeth and gums!
I'm a huge fan of natural oils and I'm using them religiously in my beauty routine (my favourite oils are line seed, argan, coconut, burdock, sapote, castor, jojoba, almond and rose oil), and I use them for my hair care, skin care and body care, so it wasn't difficult for me to addopt another way of using natural oils: as a part of my oral hygiene!

I always give a lot of importance to oral hygiene, I believe taking care of your teeth is so important.
Having that perfect smile and a set of white and healthy teeth makes you feel so much more confident, and makes you look so much more beautiful!

Especially during pregnancy it is advised to take extra care of your oral hygiene, because your gums can become weaker and teeth more prone to developing cavities and other dental problems.
Many products out there on the market contain harsh ingredients, but this coconut oil pulling is such a great, effective and natural method of protecting your teeth and gums.
I was delighted!

The brand which products I'm currently using for the Coconut oil pulling is Nutrient Wise and the coconut oil comes in little sachets that each contain 10 ml and are enough for one usage.

This product is designed particularly for the oil pulling as together with organic virgin coconut oil, contains peppermint oil, which leaves that pleasant fresh taste in your mouth.
Those are the only two ingredients this product contains, so as you can see, it's an all natural product!

Oil pulling- how it's done?

Oil pulling is actually very easy to do and it's something that can replace your mouth wash:

After brushing your teeth, cut sachet along dotted line and squeeze oil into mouth.

Then swirl it in your mouth for 5-15 minutes. Spit out immediately, rinse your mouth with warm water and smile! :-)

Coconut oil is the most indicated oil for pulling, as some other natural oils may actually stain your teeth, after a longer period of time.

You can use your regular coconut oil to do the pulling (the same you'd use for cooking), but I'm particularly fond of these little sachets as they also contain peppermint oil which gives you that fresh feeling, and also, they're handy to bring in your beauty case even on your trips!)

BOURJOIS HEALTHY MIX SERUM REVIEW & DEMO + #52 VANILLA SWATCH!

Let me present you one of my all time favourite liquid foundations: Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum! And in my today's post I'm going to tell you exactly why I love it so much! I used to use the Bourjois Healthy Mix Radiance Reveal foundation, and I loved it; as a matter of fact, I loved all of the Bourjois foundations and concealers that I tried out! I heard great reviews about the Healthy Mix Serum version, so I was eager to try this one out too! I finally managed to get my hands on it in Muller drugstore in Croatia, when I was visiting my family :-)
I picked the shade #52 Vanilla (which was the lightest shade they had in their offer, but I heard that in some countries, they have even lighter shade, #51). I'm very pale, but the shade #52 works well for me, I could even purchase the shade #53 and mix them together, for even more perfect result, and for an additional hint of colour, as in winter time, I tend to become even too pale!

Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum is a foundation that simply glides on your face and blends in perfectly! It leaves you with a very fresh feeling, and because of its gel- cream version, it is so lightweight on your face, you don't even feel like you're wearing make up on your face.

It leaves you with a very natural looking skin, only perfected! It has got a semi-matt finish and it's ineed a very long lasting foundation (tested during a long car ride from Croatia to Italy).

Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation will basically boost your skin's radiance and will have that awesome anti-age effect, as it contains vitamin-rich fruit complex (lychee, goji berries and pomegranate). Its texture is, as I've mentioned, ultra fresh and light, so it will provide you an instant anti- fatigue effect!

Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum has quickly become one of my favourite liquid foundations and I know it's a product I'll keep repurchasing for the years to come. 

It doesn't have a super thick coverage, so you might want to use your heavy- duty concealer in case you need to cover up some problematic spots on your face.
I'd compare it to Chanel's Vitalumiere Aqua foundation, which I used in the past, and also loved! In fact, Bourjois products are very similar to Chanel's...it must be because they're owned by the same company! The only difference is in the price (Bourjois is much more affordable, drugstore price range), and the packaging, which might be less posh, but it's still quite cute and well thought!


Here is how this foundation acts on my face (I'm enclosing a non-photoshoped, no-filter close up photo, so you can better see the results of Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum on my face):

As you can tell, it gives a very natural looking, even finish and revived complexion. My skin is currently normal, with dry tendency, so I need a good hydrating products that will help to lock in the much needed moisture, but even though this foundation will give you radiance and a healthy glow, it definitely won't make your skin look oily or greasy.
If you have more oily skin, you can always set it with a mattifying compact or loose powder, as a finishing touch!

I find that Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum delivered all that it promised, and it certainly exceeded my expectations!

L'Oreal Paris "The Brush Contest" (Colour Clash)

ENG: Hello lovely people! Happy Monday ♥
The ones who follow my facebook and instagram updates will know that I was invited by L'Oreal Paris Italia to participate in their international "The Brush" make up contest, where they're searching for the new talent who will have an exclusive contract and work for L'Oreal as a make up designer.
I was delighted to join this competition, especially because the theme of the contest was "Colour Clash", which meant using bold, bright and fun colours to create unique, but still wereable and pretty make up looks!
As before I even started making youtube videos and makeup tutorials, I owned a whole lot of vivid coloured eyeshadows, but not one single neutral palette (!!), this contest was definitely my cup of tea! I love colours, I love playing with colours and creating fun, intense and pretty looks!

Buduci da ja jako volim boje i volim se poigrati sa njima, kako u odjevanju, tako i u make up-u, bas sam se pronasla u ovom natjecaju i uzivala kreirajuci ovaj "entry"!
Prije nego sto sam zapocela svoj youtube kanal i snimanje makeup tutorijala, imala sam u svojoj kolekciji vise sjenila u veselim i raznim bojama, dok je mojoj kolekciji nedostajalo zemljanih i neutralnih tonova!! To vam vec puno govori o meni i o mojoj osobnosti!
