Very basic OOTD with DIY camo spiked tank top

Hello lovelies!

How are you doing? I'm here with a quick outfit post from my past trip to the island of Rab in Croatia.

We went to the beach every day, and I wanted to share with you some of the outfits I wore during my stay there! This outfit is very simple & basic, but I love it because it's super comfy and I feel very at ease wearing something like that.

My tank top is super old, it was actually my Dad's old T-shirt, that I did a DIY project on, and transformed it, something like 8 years ago, but as you can see, I still very much love it and enjoy wearing it.

Have you guys seen this DIY tutorial that I filmed 8 years ago??

I'll include it here bellow so you can take a look, I think it's fun to see such a #throwback video!

Back to this outfit, here are a few more pics...

DIY: FROM AN OLD RAG TO A COOL NEW SWEATSHIRT! GIVING MY CLOTHES A SECOND LIFE | COLORERIA ITALIANA

Hi guys!

I filmed this video some time ago, but now I found the files on my computer and decided to edit it! I think it's going to interest you :-)

My son was so little here, yet already he was helping me out with this project, how cute! :-)

In this fun and simple, easy DIY project, I gave my old Diesel sweatshirt a second life and transformed it to a cool new thing to wear! Actually, this was my hubby's sweatshirt when he was a teenager, or a young adult, and then he gave it to me, and I used it for years to sleep in it. It got stained and it just looked awful, but I still wanted to try and give it a second chance!

I used Coloreria italiana fabric colour and did some fabric cutting to update the style of my sweatshirt. In my video I also talk about being less consumist and just appreciate the thing we already have in our wardrobe, and make the most out of what we already have instead of constantly buying new stuff.

I hope you like this video! Please support my channel by liking & subscribing, it really means a lot!

I used Coloreria Italiana colour for fabric in "Grigio Antico" to update my sweatshirt

I also cut the sweatshirt to update the style a bit, and my doggy (and my little son), were helping me out :-)

The whole process of coloring is super simple and the instructions are pretty clear and easy to follow!

I'm super happy with my cool, "new" sweatshirt! I'll definitely be making more of these DIY projects, giving my clothes a second life!

Let me know, have you ever done similar DIY projects with your clothes, and transformed something you weren't wearing anymore, into a super cool "new" item that you wanted to wear all the time?

I hope this inspired you to do so!

H&M lace mini dress for the beach

ENG: Happy Monday guys, I hope you all had a great weekend! I was invited with my hubby to our friend's birthday party so we spent a very pleasant afternoon celebrating with him, eating, singing and chatting away...wish there were more days like this!

Here is another summer outfit for the beach! I wore my old H&M lace mini dress and old pink sandals that I bought in Italy years ago. My denim vest is a DIY project (this was Zara jacket that originally had faux leather sleeves, but with time, the faux leather started to peel off and I couldn't wear it like that anymore...so I turned it into a vest by cutting off the sleeves!). Sometimes you have to have a bit of immagination to give a new life into your old, worn out items and you'll be surprised to find out how useful they still are!

HR: Pozdrav ljudi, svima zelim ugodan pocetak novog radnog tjedna!

DIY Project: Spiked Converse

Hello lovelies!

I have one fun DIY project for you today :)

We all know, studded...everything...is on trend now!!!

I really like studded converse, but instead of paying a whole lot to get this last trend, I've decided to just be crafty and re-vamp my plain, boring sneakers!

I actually didn't want to put studs into my original All Star sneakers, because I know this trend will eventually grow old, but All Star sneakers however, never will, which is proven, because I wore them even when I was in elementary/middle school!

Instead, I bought much cheaper version of "All Star" sneakers, something that would do for this DIY project, and that I wasn't affraid of ruining (let's face it, I'm not the craftiest person in this world, lol!)
I got this Dany.Danna (whatever, lol) pair of sneakers at my local INA Market, for only 5 €

On e-bay I bought studs & spikes (unfortunately, I bought only 20pcs of spikes, and that turned out to be too little for what I originally had in mind...)...luckily, I had plenty of skull studs, so I was able to go on with my project!

I can't remember the e-bay account of the seller, but they can also be found at
this website (as on the pic above)

My studs & spikes came from the UK, the shipping was very fast, everything went well, I was pleased :)
They've got a huge selection of spikes and studs in different shapes, colours and sizes!

Watch my DIY project video here:

The result:

My DIY project ended up having more skull studs than spikes, not what I was originally planning to do...
but oh well!
I think it turned out quite cool anyway!
What do you think?

Trendy, cute & comfy!
Great for everyday/ casual looks :)

I hope you liked this DIY project; my intention was to inspire you to be crafty as well! :)

DIY Project: Cocktail Vintage Ring

Hello girls!

Lately, I've been creative :)
This was my new DIY project:

I got a pair of clip-on earrings from my granny's jewellery box...

...and I've decided to make a statement/ cocktail ring!

You're going to need:
A clip-on earring (look at your granny's jewellery box, or pay a visit to a thrift store!)
A hair elastic (the one without the metal part is the best option)
A thread and a needle

Tie the knot at the very centre of the hair elastic...

Take the earring, open it up, and just slip in the elastic, just like that!
It's super simple!

The ring is done!
Soo easy to do! :)

I hope this gave you an interesting idea :) and that you'll make your own
vintage ring :)

If you do this yourself, post a picture of your DIY vintage cocktail ring on
my facebook page!
And let's be friends there! :)

Don't forget to leave me a comment if you'd like to see more DIY projects from me in the future! :)

Kisss from Italy,

xoxo, S.

Holiday Outfit Vlog # 2. Fringe Vest & Boyfriend Fit Shorts

Hello girls!

When you're vacationing on the island, it's all about the sun, the sea, and going to a different beach every day!

One of my favourite locations on the island of Rab is called Suha Punta. It is a very green part of the island, and there are plenty of nice beaches there.

Here is what I was wearing that day, for the beach:

(hit the play button to watch my OOTD vid!)

One of the essential items in my beach bag:
A bottle of water!

As long as I have enough fresh water with me,
I'm smiling! :)

Outfit of the Day:
Fringe vest for the beach!

Acting a bit silly...trying out some dance movements...lol...captured on the camera OMG ;D

My 2nd day at the beach: Still need to work on that tan, lol!

Later on that evening...

...we went for a walk at the center of the Rab town, and to grab some yummy ice- creams!
I haven't had a chance to film my Outfit of the Night...anyway, it wouldn't work out as I didn't have the appropriate lighting ... so we just took a few pics of my outfit instead...

Shall we do my hubby's outfit first? ;)

He was wearing:

Jeans: River Island
Grey polo shirt: H&M
Green shirt: H&M
Sneakers: Puma

I guess that's it, as he wasn't accessorizing much! :D

I was wearing:

Crochet shorts: Zara
Wedges: H&M
Grey beaded necklace: Promod

Looooveee youuu all so much!!!
xoxo Sonja
