Le Volume de Chanel Mascara Review

Hello everyone & happy monday! :)

Today's blog post is going to be a review of my favourite mascara at the moment: Le Volume de Chanel.

This mascara has exceeded all my expectations, that's why I've decided to do a separate review of it, and not to just mention it in my monthly favourites (which, btw. I haven't filmed for a while...)

I got the sample size of this mascara in italian fashion magazine, and it's in a shade 10 noir (black).
This mascara really is something else! With just one coat, it makes your lashes stand out and they appear longer and more volumized!
I have very fair eyelashes and when I don't wear mascara, they just don't stand out :( Because they're so light in colour, they appear shorter than they actually are, so a good mascara is one of my beauty must- haves!

I need a mascara that will darken my eyelashes, make them appear longer, thicker and more volumized!
Also, I don't want my mascara to give me "spidery lashes effect", to clump, smudge, transfer onto my eyelids, or dry out on me too soon!
So yes, I have pretty high expectations when it comes to my perfect mascara :) In the past, I have always combined two, or even three different mascaras to obtain these results...but this has changed since I met Le Volume de Chanel! :)
Now, in only one single coat, I already have amazing results!

I actually filmed the moment I first tried it out (I was filming a make up tutorial), so you can see my first impressions (and also hear more detailed review/my thoughts of this mascara), here:

This mascara is expensive, as all Chanel products are...I think this is the only downside of it!
Because there are pretty good drugstore mascaras that are also reasonably priced, I'm still having second thoughts about purchasing the full size of this mascara...
Mascara is the make up item that probably expires first, and when I pay more money for a make up item, I hope to be able to enjoy it for a longer period of time!
If you don't need to worry about how much you spend, or stay within your budget...then...(lucky you!)...I definitely recommend you to get this mascara!

Urban Decay NAKED 3 Review & Tutorial

I got this beauty at around Christmas, as it just came out in my local Sephora! I grabbed it immediately, without even swatching the colours!!! Previously, I had read some on-line reviews, plus, I know UD eyeshadows are amazing quality, so I knew this palette was designed for me :)
I'm a big lover of rose/pink neutral tones of eyeshadows, rose-gold shades...they're my favourites & they're very flattering on my skintone/eye/hair colour ;)

I have "replaced" all my eyeshadows and eyeshadow palettes with this NAKED 3 palette, and I have been using only this palette since December on a daily basis! ;)

I filmed a review & a make up tutorial, feat. this palette, on my youtube beauty channel ,but the lighting wasn't collaborating with me, so I promised I'd show you all the swatches on my blog too!

In the NAKED 3 palette you'll get 12 gorgeous  (mostly pink based) eyeshadows...

I can't even begin to name you my favourites, the decision is way too difficult, I love them all!!!

The colours that I use the most often are:

- Nooner

I seriously ♥ them all!

If you're asking me which one is my favourite UD palette, from the Naked collection, my answer is THIS one, for sure :)

With the NAKED 3 palette, you'll also get a sample size of 4 eyeshadow primers.
(My faves are the shade "Sin", and the anti-aging one!)
I'm considering purchasing the full size of the anti-aging one!

Hubby Does My Make Up TAG! (Muzic me sminka!)

I finally managed to convince my hubby to film this fun TAG video with me! I've been talking about this idea to him, for over a year now, and "somehow" he was always postponing it...

When he finally ran out of all the exceuses, I gave him my make up kit, turned the video camera on, and we started filming...he was actually pretty good at it (considering he doesn't have a clue about applying make up!)and we had some good laughs together (which I'm pretty sure you'll have too, if you check out these videos!)

Napokon sam uspjela nagovoriti muzica na snimanje ovog smijesnog videa! O ovoj ideji mu govorim vec vise od godinu dana, ali on naravno uvijek nalazi neki izgovor i odgadja snimanje...


Kada su izgovori napokon ponestali, dala sam mu u ruke svoj make up kit, ukljucila video kameru i poceli smo snimati... ;)
Ostala sam iznenadjena! Muzic mi je pravi make up artist! (Uzmimo u obzir da nije imao pojma kako treba sminkati...moglo je biti i puno gore!)
Mi smo se dobro zabavili i od srca nasmijali, a sigurni smo da cete i vi, ukoliko pogledate nase videe (podijelila sam ih u dva dijela jer su bili dosta dugacki!).

Bohemian Milkmaid Braid Hair Tutorial

I love doing hair tutorials! My hair is pretty long, so I like to experiment, learn different hairstyles and change often, the way I style my hair :)

Recently, I've been loving this "milkmaid braid", but with a bohemian twist (a little bit more messy hair/braids and a flower crown headband...)


I think this hairstyle is going to be perfect for warmer weather (when you want your hair away from your face, and when you don't need to wear hats to keep your head warm!)

Danas za vas jedan "hair tutorijal" :)

Ja zaista volim snimati hair tutorijale; buduci da imam dugu kosu, volim eksperimentirati sa razlicitim frizurama, cesto mijenjati nacine na koji radim frizuru :)

Ovu "pletenicu mljekaricu" vec duze vremena volim, pa sam se odlucila podijeliti ovaj jednostavni i brzi tutorijal sa vama.

Mislim da je ova frizura savrsena prije svega u toplije doba godine, kada ne zelite da vam kosa smeta uz lice i kada ne morate nositi kape da biste se zagrijali...

Ovoj pletenici odlucila sam dati mali "bohemian twist", poigravsi se sa teksturom kose (bolje da je malo "rascupana") i ovom cvjetnom trakom za kosu inspiriranom Lanom del Rey.
