Sun Goddess Sunless Tanning Lotion Review & Giveaway! (OPEN)

Hello beauties!

I have prepared a product review for you today!
As Summer is getting closer, I felt like trying out the Sun Goddess sunless tanning lotion, and to work on my tan before going to the beach for the first time this year!

I'm very pale skin, so I do need a bit of a tan if I want to wear shorts, skirts and just more revealing clothes...don't get me wrong, I love & embrace my pale skin, but I do think I look a bit better with a hint of a nice tan & summer glowy skin!

I don't like to go to sun beds because they can cause premature aging of the skin (and I'd rather be pale, than look old!), and, I love the sun, but I hate sun bathing during the hottest hours of the day(I usually go to the beach in the afternoon hours, to avoid the harmful UV rays!)

That's why, over the years, I have become a true expert in sunless tanning and I have tried so many products, from high-end, to drugstore brands!

I was very happy when Sun Goddess company approached me and asked me to try out their sunless tanning lotion and share my review with you guys!
I waited for the warmer weather to arrive, to try out the product on my skin; even though I've had the lotion for a few months now, I just tried it out recently, because in Italy, we've had such a bad weather, I just didn't see the point in developing a tan, only to later cover it with layers & layers of clothes!

So here is my review of the Sun Goddess sunless tanning lotion:

(click on the play button above to watch my review video)

The container holds 236ml/8 fl.oz.

The Sun Goddess lotion is made in the USA, the Sun Goddess company is based in sunny California(which made me think, they HAVE to be experts when it comes to developing a tan! ha!).
The lotion is cruelty free and packed with natural ingredients! It contains Pro Vitamin B5, Vitamin E, Aloe Leaf Juice, Shea Butter, Carrot Seed oil, which makes it really good for your skin because it keeps it hydrated (whilst other self tanning lotions tend to dry out your skin!)and it actually nourishes your skin!

The formula itself is pretty liquid and the lotion is very dark.
It absorbs very quickly into your skin so you have to work fast when applying it and make sure to distribute it evenly!
It does have a very pleasant, sweet scent (it reminds me of a chocolate! yum!); after a couple of hours you will notice a slight funky scent of self tanning products (characteristic to most self tanning products), but it won't be too strong or overwhelming!

Before you apply the product, make sure to prepare your skin by doing a scrub and other things (watch my video to see how I prepare my skin for self tanning, to get the best possible results!):

or you can read a related blog post HERE!

This lotion will give you an instant intense colour, you won't have to wait for it to develop within a few hours, but you will actually see the colour developing in a matter of minutes, apon the application!

Don't worry, because once you applied it, it won't transfer onto your clothes or stain your towels the next day when you're taking a shower! I however recommend not using white, or very pale coloured clothes, immediately after the application (just to be on the safe side!)

Always wear the gloves (that you'll receive with the lotion) when applying the product, because you don't want to stain the palms of your hands!
The colour develops so fast, it might be too late to try to wash it off afterwards! ooops!

Remember, this product doesn't contain UV protection, so if you're going to have sun exposure, make sure to apply your sunscreen! You look like you have a tan, but your skin is actually very prone to getting sun burned!

Kim Kardashian Inspired Simple Smoky Eye for Everyday

Hello beauties!

I have a new make up tutorial for you! I realized, I haven't done a make up tutorial in a while, but now I'm again very much into filming them, so expect to see many more make up tutorials coming up on my beauty channel! :)

If you have any requests, regarding the make up look you'd like to see me create, please leave me your comments! :)

Today's make up tutorial is inspired by Kim Kardashian, I saw her video on youtube where she was explaining the make up look that her make up artist was doing; I actually really liked the look, it is very simple & easy to recreate, very chic & sophisticaated, yet still appropriate for every day wear!

I had to share it with you!

I'm personally not a big fan of Kim K., but youtube is full of beauty videos inspired by her make up looks
and I have to admit, I liked this simple smoky eye look!

This is my take on the look:

These are the colours/eyeshadows I used to create this look:

Naked 2 eyeshadow palette by Urban Decay (I used only one eyeshadow from the palette, "Busted")
NYX Eyeshadow base w/Pearl ESB02
Kiko Make Up Milano highly pigmented eye shadow # 122

I used "Busted" along my lower lash line, as well as on top of my eyeliner!

NYX eyeshadow base is also a beautiful highlighter!
Kiko Make Up Milano eyeshadow # 122

Avon Super Shock gel eyeliner/ eye-liner gel in black
Kiko Make Up Milano Smoky eye pencil #01
Marbert Wonderlash Mascara long lash effect
Dior Diorshow Iconic Overcurl 090 Over Black

DIY: Camo Spiked Tank Top (from my Dad's oversized Tshirt!)

Hello lovelies!

Today I have a new DIY project for you!
I'm very excited to show you how it turned out, personally, I'm loving the rsult!

I took my Dad's old T-shirt, that he was wearing back in the 90.-ies, when he was in the military, and, as the camo print is so IN right now, I saw a big potential in this old piece! :)

It was very big on me and it just didn't look right, so I took a pair of scissors and started cutting...

Check out my DIY project video tutorial here:

My "old/new" tank top!

I got metal spikes at e-bay, for this project I used 8 total, but you can use even more, depending on where do you want to position the spikes!

Some things you're going to need...

I'm very happy with how my tank top turned out, I'll enjoy wearing it, more so because it has got a big sentimental value, due to the fact that it belonged to my Dad...♥

Some pics of me wearing my camo tank top...

I hope you liked this project!
Remember, you can do this with any T-shirt that you find, that is too large for you and not that flattering on! You can easily transform it into a very trendy piece and customize it to your likings!
I did the similar thing with another T-shirt that I bought recently at H&M, young boy's dept.(I liked the print very much, but I didn't like the fit, so I cut it and now I ♥ it...will be sharing that one with you in one of my upcoming haul videos!)

Hello lovelies!

Happy Monday! Mine was a bit more busy than usual, I was running some errands...and time just flew by! This weekend was super busy as well, as I was working late! Finally, starting this next Sunday, I'm on my vacations and I already have a few interesting trips planned! Today I have an outfit post, another Spring time appropriate outfit! Lots of denim & different shades of blue... ♥ it!

My Dad loved these flowers, he used to always ask me, whenever I came to visit, have I seen how beautiful they are!

I love my "ombre" style denim shirt!

Boyfriend fit jeans, with ripped details.
I'm wearing them a bit folded, so the heels can show off better :)

My honest opinion on hairextensiondeal.com

Hello beauties!

I was contacted by a company that sells hair extensions and hair decorations and they asked me if I'd be willing to do a product review for them...I said yes, so they told me to choose one feather hair extension, from the variety of a different colours they have in their offer...
I went for the red one, because I think it gives a nice contrast in my blonde hair...

What do you think?

a screenshot of my video review, where I'm wearing this cute hair extension!
The company that sent me the hair extension is called hairextensiondeal.com

Check them out here!
They also sell real human hair, hair extensions, from the clip-ins, to wefts/weaves, micro loops, fusion nail extensions...the choice is really big!
I haven't tried anything else other than this feather hair extension, so I can't vouch for the quality of the other products on the website, but I'm very happy with my little feather extension :)

At hairextensiondeal.com, this extension retails at $5.99
(reduced from $12.99)
You can get the exact same one here!

The extension itself it's not made of real feather (but it comes with a real- small feather, attached to the extension)
The extension is made of some sort of a fibre, and then it has horizontal black stripes all over it, so it  looks like a real feather!

It's a clip-in extension, so it's very practical, it's very easy to put it in your hair, as it is to remove it!

Overall, it's a nice, fun product to have, whenever you feel like changing a bit your hair, without doing anything drastic to it!

Check out other colours of feather hair extensions & choose the one you like best, here!

I'm very happy with the product and I'll enjoy wearing it in my hair especially now, in Spring & Summer time :)

About the company...
hairextensiondeal.com is based in China, but they do ship via express service, such as DHL, or FedEx...
They offer free shipping for the orders over $99.00, which is nice, because shipping cost from China via express service can actually be quite pricey!
Once they sent out the package my way, it arrived in less than a week!

However, I think this company should work on improving their customer's service, as I did have some issues with them.
They put a lot of pressure on me to put this review up ASAP and even though I e-mailed them as soon as I got the package, saying that I like the product and that I'll be doing a review as soon as I can, I felt like they feared I wouldn't do this review and they kept e-mailing me, asking to put a review up!
(I explained the situation better in my video, so don't forget to check it out!)

(press the play button above, to watch my review on the hairextensiondeal.com company!)

If you have any other question about the feather hair extension that I've received, don't hesitate to contact me!
For questions regarding other products from the website, you can directly contact the company!

Thanks for stopping by!

Love from Italy,
xoxo, S.
