Review: Sisley Paris Express Flower Gel& Eye Contour Mask

Hello my darlings!

As I've mentioned in my "Current Favourites" blog post& youtube video, lately I've been loving the Sisley Paris products.
In particular, I'm obsessed with Sisley Paris Express Flower Gel and Sisley Paris Eye Contour Mask.
I've heard some very positive reviews on these products so I've decided to try them out.
At my local Douglas store, I asked for a couple of samples of these particular products (because I wasn't going to make a purchase before actually having a chance to test them out on my skin to see how do they work, what effect will they have!)
Sisley Paris is an expensive brand, the products are all high end priced& therefor, I'd advise you to do the same- ask for samples- if you were planning to purchase a product from this brand.
I was personally VERY pleased with the effect these products had on my face, it felt as if I had found my miracle creams, so I've decided they're worth the price.

Here are my new favourites in skin care:

Sisley Paris Express Flower Gel
Sisley paris Eye Contour Mask
These are both masks that will give to your face much needed hydration, but the good thing is that you don't actually need to rinse them off.
You can just leave these products on your face for the entire day, apply your usual make up on top, the masks will continue with giving your skin the hydration, leaving it velvety and toned.

Sisley Paris Express Flower Gel
At Douglas it retails at: 90.00 €
(- 10% off, because all the Sisley products are sold with 10% discount,
that is applied at the cash register)
Express Flower Gel
hydrating, toning and firming mask

This mask contains a high concentration of hydrating ingredients:
- extracts of Lily and Iris, with powerful water- retaining capacity.
- extracts of Sesame, rich in Vitamin F obtained from organically grown plants. It is highly effective in the prevention of water loss.

In three minutes, skin is smoother, softer and velvety. It feels hydrated, toned, revitalized and firmer.

Traces of fatigue and stress are smoothed away for a brighter, glowing, radiant appearance.
This mask is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin.

Advices on how to use this product:
Two or three times a week, apply on face and throat, including the eye area.
After three minutes, carefully tissue off the excess.
Don't rinse because the plant extracts will continue their actively beneficial effects.

How I use this product?
Normally, I'll use this product three times a week (on the days when I'm working late hours).

Sisley Paris Eye Contour Mask
At Douglas this product retails at: 88.50 €
(minus 10% off)

Eye Contour Mask
reduces fine lines and puffiness

The eye area immediately reflects our fatigue, and very quickly shows the first visible signs of skin ageing.
Thanks to a unique combination of botanical ingredients (Extracts of Ginkgo Biloba, Arnica, Horse Chestnut, Mallow and Linden), vitamins (Pro-Vitamin B5 and Vitamin E Acetate) and trace elements (Malachite and Chlorella Extracts), this Eye Contour Mask from Sisley worksin just a few minutes to help rehydrate skin and smooth away visible signs of fatigue:
-Fine lines around the eyes appear visibly reduced, the eye area and eyelids are smoothed.
- Undereye puffiness and dark circles are visibly reduced in appearance.
- The natural defense system of this delicate area is strengthened (Vitamin E Acetate).

The eyes look better rested, the eyelids and skin around the eyes smoother- the youthful appearance of this delicate area is preserved.
The original "gel patch" texture leaves an ultra- soft, imperceptible film which continues to work after the mask is removed.

Advices on how to use this product:
Apply the mask in a thick layer to eyelids and skin around eyes and leave on for 10 minutes; then tissue off excess product without rinsing.
May also be used around lips.
Morning or night on bare skin.
Suitable for sensitive eyes.

How do I use this product?
I use it on the days when I'm using the Express Flower Gel ( basically two, three times a week).
I use this product only at day time, because I can actually see& enjoy the results/benefits of it.

There are some other products that are on my wish-list when talking about Sisley...
Thanks to the kind& lovely sales-assistant at Douglas store, I got a chance to try out loads of Sisley samples :)

Samples of Sisley Paris skin care& body care
products.
Products that I'd like to buy in the future:
  1.  Creamy Mask With Tropical Resins (Deeply purifying combination/oily skin)
  2.  Hydra- Flash Formule Intensive (Beta-hydroxyacid essential oils natural plant extract)
  3.  Ecological Compound day and night all skin types

The first one is on the top of my wish list, the mask that does miracles when it comes to a skin that is on a verge to breakout, or more oily than usual.
It really prevents the blemishes from happening and it calms the existing ones!!!
The second one is a really good moisturizer, especially in a cold winter months.
Dryness or fine lines doesn't stand a chance with this moisturizer!
The third one is a light fluid, ideal for a combination/oily skin, especially in spring& summer months, also ideal as a daily moisturizer and a base for make up.

I hope you found helpful this review.
Remember, every skin has got its own needs, so before deciding to purchase a product, ask at your local beauty store for samples!!!
It's the only way to make sure that a product that you're about to purchase actually works for you!

As always, there is a video/review that you can check out by clicking on the link bellow:
I'm hoping to see you soon with another review on Sisley products ;)
Oh well, I'll do that when my budget allows...

Stay beautiful,
xoxo

  1. Hi Sonja! Great review! I am so glad you are happy with this line. I prob. won't try anything because I have allergies, so anything botanical/plant extracts is like inviting me to sit in a field of Ragweed or poison ivy or something. LOL But, great for those with no allergies. Also, I don't know if this is true, but one beauty counter person, told me she saw alot of girls with "fried faces" from the essential oils on thier faces. Hmmm The other factor would be the price - over there the products are VERY high...I was just looking online and I think the masks alone are over 100.00. I used to love La Prairie (not the same now)..but I found that when you stop using the products, your skin goes back to the same. So, I have mixed feelings on expensive skincare lines. I have heard more ladies with GORGEOUS skin, say they only used Nivea cream or others say Ponds cold cream. LOL In other words, simple things...and they had no wrinkles/gorgeous skin later in life. I gues whatever works, for each person, as you said. Believe it or not, I have even seen women with pretty skin say they only used WATER, because skincare lines broke them out. LOL LOL LOL I try this and that. I have used expensive and cheap.

  2. P.S. ..I meant to say the products are very high HERE...over 100 for masks. I also mentioned in your video comments that some counter persons are VERY generous with samples and others are resentful and will NOT give you any, saying they have none. They will say "oh, if it doesn't work, you can bring it back".... IRKS me. Some are so willing and want to give samples.
