THE E.L.F. HAS ARRIVED!

I'm so pleased with my latest purchases that I just have to blog about it! ;)
I got my package from the e.l.f. cosmetics& I'm loving all the products that I ordered.
I have to say, I'm not a big fan of on-line shopping, it's just the way I am, I prefer to spend my money in the "real" shops rather than in the virtual ones.
But, my friend has had a really good experience with shopping on the e.l.f. website, PLUS, they were celebrating their 3 year anniversary of the italian website so they had a nice promotion going on over the past weekend:
Free shipping (with at least 12,00 euros purchase), and a FREE eyeshadow palette (it was their choice, which one will they send to you, the natural or the smoky eye one.)
I got the natural one, and I'm happy with it as the colours are gorgeous and one can create a beautiful every day make up looks with these colours!

Here are the pics of my little haul:

e.l.f. goodies!
I'm loving these products!

e.l.f. The Beauty Encyclopedia (Basic Eye Edition)

The Beauty Encyclopedia (close-up pic)

The Beauty Encyclopedia
(with the instructions for the application for the make up beginners- on the left)

e.l.f. Studio Contouring Blush and Bronzing Powder

Contouring Blush (on the left)
Bronzing Powder (on the right)

My free gift: e.l.f. Natural eyeshadow palette

e.l.f. All Over Color Stick # 3105 Golden Peach

I wanted to try out the Beauty Encyclopedia and the Contouring Blush& Bronzing Powder for so long!

The Beauty Encyclopedia includes:
- a step by step guide to the perfect eye make up
- 12 eyeshadow shades (you can create both everyday, or make up for the special occasions, with the colours in this palette)
- 2 cream eyeshadow shades (which I use as my primer. They make the colours of the eyeshadows more accentuated& long lasting.)
- 1 eyeliner (black)
- 1 eyeshadow brush

The Duo of the Contouring Blush& Bronzing Powder is made to create a healthy and natural glow year- round.
The Blush highlights the cheeks to add a flush of colour.
The Bronzer accents and contours cheekbones, but go really lighthanded with this one, especially if you have a really fair skin as I do!
I apply the bronzer to the hollow of the cheeks for definition and dust around the face line to create a healthy glow.
Then I use the blush on the apple of the cheeks to create a subtle colour.

e.l.f. All Over Color Stick
Instantly brightens eyes, lips and face.
Naturally illuminates the skin, for a healthy glow.
You can use it as a highlight for your cheeks, brow bone, you can even apply it to your lips!
This is exactly what I did, with just a layer of a clear lip gloss on top!
The result was fabulous :)

e.l.f. Natural Eyeshadow Palette
These colours are so pretty for a daily make up looks!
The texture of the eyeshadow is very soft, the pigmentation is ok, they are all quite shimmery.
You can definitely layer on colours for desired intensity and ideal colour definition.
You can use them dry for a more subtle look, or wet for a dramatic look.

Are you familiar with the e.l.f. cosmetics?
If so, which are your favourites?
Do you have any product that you would recommend to me?

Shop for e.l.f. here:

All the products came to me in the perfect condition, nothing was damaged or broken, everything was wrapped up safely& with attention.
So this is another big plus!
And, they're super inexpensive!
All these things added, just makes me go back to the website for more!

Since I raved so much about the e.l.f. products in this blog post, I'd like to add that I'm not in any way related to the company, I'm not paid to promote their products and I paid this order with my money.
It's just my personal opinion on the products!
Thumbs up, MissTrendyKitty recommends! ;)

Don't forget to check out my youtube video on this e.l.f haul:

Quick& Simple Make Up Tutorial For After Work Christmas Party!

Here is another one of my make up tutorials inspired by this festive season.
This is a very quick& simple look to create, so I believe it's ideal for after work dinner parties that are usually held just a couple of days before Christmas :)

Just click on the link bellow to watch my tutorial:

I used only three eye shadows:

Kiko Make Up Milano "Back To Black" eyeshadow quad in # 2
I used only the lightest, silver colour.

Essence Hypnotic Blue eye shadow in #10

Kiko Make Up Milano eye shadow in #125

And here are a few pics of the result:

The pop of colour, the electric blue eyeshadow along the upper lash line,
 will accentuate the hazel eyes!

Pretty& simple look, ideal for the special occasions when you don't have much time for preparations,
but you still want to look good!

:)

As always, don't forget to paint your nails with one of the trendy nail colours for this season!
I believe my choice, the Avon's nail polish, goes really well with the entire look :)

Avon nailwear pro in "Blue Flare"

For all my croatian followers, you can also watch this tutorial in croatian version :)

Day Trip In The Mountains: What Do I Carry In My Beauty Case?

So this past Sunday I went to the mountains. I was feeling quite sick lately, due to the cold weather, I caught this bad cold (again!! ugh) and I had difficulties breathing through my nose (so congested!!).
The air where I live is quite polluted and full of humidity, so I really needed to go to the mountains for a "day therapy", just being outside on the fresh, clean air!
I felt so much better :)
I didn't forget about you guys, as the scenery was so picturesque& breathtaking, I wanted to do some videos for my beauty channel.

I took the opportunity of being in the mountains to film my "Questions& Answers" video that you can see by clickig on the link bellow:

I also included some funny moments& bloopers! I personally was laughing hard when I watched this footage, so I thought I'd share some laughs with you guys :)
That is always a nice thing to do, right?

Next, I did a video on what was I carring in my beauty case that day:

Which products do I carry in my beauty case, usually depends on the make up that I'm wearing on my face that day.
But there are also some essentials that I always carry with me, no matter how my make up looks that day!

What was in my beauty case?

So, here is the complete list of the products that I brought with me this Sunday:

  1. Bourjois Paris Compact Powder # 72 Sable Rose
  2. Essence Pure Skin Oil Control Paper with green tea
  3. Pearsorbet Lip Balm by H&M
  4. Mavala Switzerland Nail Files
  5. Kiko Make Up Milano Lipstick #58
  6. Avon Clearskin Blemish Clearing Blemish Stick
  7. Kiko Make Up Milano False Lashes Concentrate Volume Top Coat Mascara
  8. Perfume samples: J'adore by Dior and Loud by Tommy Hilfiger
  9. Cute bobby pin
  10. A few Q-tips
  11. One band-aid

  14. Essence Smokey Eyes Pencil (black)
  15. La Roche- Posay Ceralip Lip Repair Cream

And that's about it!
So MUCH products, and they all fit into my small beauty case! lol!

Here are a few pics of me taken that day:

Just about to film my video...
Thinking about the topics to talk about... ;)

I love the life in the mountains!
And that's it for today's post!
Do let me know do you enjoy being in the mountais?
And which make up products do you always carry in your beauty case?
